Warrens POV.

Today has to be the one day, Lash and Speed had to pick on a new freshman, all's I know is that it was with that Hero, Marie the Schools new Fire Girl, well there wasn't a Fire Girl before her but you get what I mean. She was basically all the boys talked about, it made me angry.

A lot of the boys wanted to make plans to ask her out to this spring ball or something I really didn't care, but they will not be asking her to that lame ass ball.

I mean not that I cared if she went with a guy, I really don't she can go out with anyone she wants fine by me, it's just guys shouldn't use girls like that especially a girl like her, she may seem difficult but trust me she's the easiest to get if you pay attention.

When she punched Speed in the face this morning it actually was the highlight of my day, seeing her powers made me know her just a little bit more then I did already, oh and don't let me forget her book interests are out of this world, hadn't met anyone with the same interests as myself, she was beyond any other girl I had ever seen, most gave themselves away to easily.

Marie, nah she was very protective she had her standards, that no guy could pass unless you had the right key to enter.

I can't believe this, I was sitting outside near the Cafeteria just staring at the school buses, thinking of Marie. This isn't me!!.

I rolled my eyes, picking up my bag and entered the school again making my way towards my science lesson.

Marie's POV

"What do you mean you have no powers!!" coach boomer yelled at Will, who had been flung into one of the stable benches.

"I mean I don't have powers none, nothing!" Will groaned coach seemed unimpressed and shock his head, before turning towards Will.

"SIDEKICK!!" he yelled.

"Great" Will groaned, getting up Layla helped and so did I.

"Now off to Science, bye guys" I said Will and Layla nodded.

"See you after school?" She called out waving slightly.

"Yeah!!" I waved back running towards my Science lesson.

I walked in just on time, taking a seat at the back, I pulled my bag off of my back and leaned onto my lab table, before someone sat beside me.

I looked up seeing a boy, same age, but a few months older, he was smiling down at me, weird.

"Hey, I'm Jackson" I nodded.

"Marie" Jackson smiled again.

"I know" I fairly toothless smiled at him turning away from his gaze.

"So I heard you have four superpowers?" He asked, I turned around again.

"Yea" I responsded.

"Cool, mines that I can morph into any animal I want" he said I just nodded.

"Cool........ " I trailed off not feeling quite interested in his ability.

"Can you turn into a dragon?" I asked Jackson's face turned into a disgusting look.

"Ew those ugly things no, they're ugly creatures why would you ask that?" Now I know who you really are. A selfish little brat.

"Just cause, now I'd like for you to shut up so I can focus on my Science work thank you." Jackson nodded slightly before turning his gaze across the room, I followed and saw Warren sitting on the side table with a girl smiling dreamily at him, I couldn't help but get a tight feeling in my stomach.

But for some reason Warren was glaring at Jackson, it kinda helped with the tight squeezieness in my stomach.

Was Warren jealous?

Nahhhhh.

Maybe?

Nahhhhh.

I shook my head turning towards the board and saw what was written, we had to make a freeze ray that had to contain at least 3 to four shots. That only temporarily froze the student or victim.

I gathered what we needed and looked at Jackson who wasn't paying attention and was just staring at the same direction as he was before, but he was muttering something to someone.

'She's hot man' I heard someone whisper, then I saw Jackson's face turn into a grin.

'I know and I've got her wrapped around my little finger'

I began to build the freeze ray, connecting all we needed and finished right on time, our teacher come up to us first and smiled at me.

"Ms Steal I've been watching you all lesson, would you like to test your Freeze ray on your partner Mr Whittemore? Since you sir had no intention on helping Ms Steal but instead, talked all lesson, you will receive detention with Miss Powers tomorrow afternoon" I saw Jackson moan, I couldn't help but laugh to myself, I heard a chuckled and looked at the person who had chuckled. Warren was looking at me smiling brightly.

"Nice going, bookworm" he mouthered I grinned.

"That's what I do hot head" I returned the same compliment and turned to our teacher.

"I'd be delighted to test this ray gun on Mr Whittemore" I aimed the gun at Jackson and pulled the trigger, the ray let out an icy blue before freezing Jackson fully.

I turned to our teacher.

"A+ Ms Steal very well done.." I grinned again before sitting down beside a frozen Jackson.
