I guess I should start off this chapter by saying: it's 2016! Do not condone ignorance. Let people know that the desensitization of the n word has got to come to a complete halt. Like, stop.
If you are white or non-black POC, don't say the n word. It's not hard to not say a word, it really isn't. It's a nasty word that harbors lots of resentment and years of mistreatment and torture. Be a respectful person and don't say the n word if you're not black.
I know that you might also be thinking, "but, if black people can say it, why can't I?" And I'm here to tell you, that is currently and forever, none of your business. You are not black, so things happening in the black community don't involve you, unless you want to show your support. Even then, saying the n word while not being black is doing the exact opposite of supporting us. It's just a word to you, but it's casual racism to us, keep that in mind.
