Graces POV
Matthew and I have been living together( in OUR new apartment) for the past 2 months... He was so excited when I told him that we found a child to adopt! Our mission is to help children who are in need as well as to lead them to Christ. Did I mention that were engaged now?!? I can't wait to marry him!!!😊 Anywho, we're  going to meet the little girl and her grandmom right now. Luckily we have 2 extra bedrooms so she can have her own room....They did a background check on us a few days ago and of course, we passed. As we pull up to their house; I'm filled with emotions, both excited and nervous . I've never taken care of a child before (well for more than 3 hours).... But ready or not here we go.....*
* We ring the doorbell and the little girl opens the door... I still have no idea what her name is *
Grace- Hi sweetie! What's your name?
Girl- Emma * She has beautiful brown hair that's in braids and blue eyes, she's wearing a black shirt & pants*
Grace- Hey Emma! I'm Grace and this is my fiancé Matthew!Is your grandmom here?
Emma-  Yes! Come in
* We follow Emma to the living room where her grandmom is. She looks like she's sickly..*
Matthew- Hello ma'am . I'm Matthew and this is my fiancé Grace *he shakes her  hand and I do the same*Emma's grandmom- Very nice to meet both of you. I appreciate you both for adopting my granddaughter. I actually have breast cancer and the doctors said I only have 30 more days to live, so I wanted to make sure Emma was being taken care of before I die
*I sit next to her trying to hold my tears in..*
Grace- I'm so sorry. We will be praying for you
Emma's grandmom- Thank you so much. Well you guys should be going.  I have all her stuff in this bag right here... I'm going to miss you Emma, but just know that I love you so much. Don't forget our handshake
*Emma gives her a big hug and kiss...I can't help it a tear comes out of my eyes*
Emma- I love you too grandmom. *and they did a little handshake *
Grace- Is Emma allergic to anything or any foods she doesn't like?
Emma's grandmom- No allergies to any foods. She basically likes everything  and she LOVES ice cream
Grace- Okay great!I promise we will take good care of her. We will be back before the 30 days to see you
Emma grandmom- I don't want to make her too upset, so you guys don't have to come back. Just make sure you take good care of her
Matthew- Will do
* We all hug her one last time... *
Grace- Are you ready to go sweetie?We can stop by the grocery store to get some of your favorite foods- like ice cream.
Emma- Yay!!!Bye grandmom! I will love you forever!
Emma's  grandmom- and I will do the same sweetie. Have fun
*I don't think Emma knows she staying with us forever and won't see her grandmom again, but this isn't the time to tell her...* *We leave her grandmoms house.. I still can't forget what she said " The doctor gave me 30 days to live"....*
*blackout*  
*Ricky has to work a double today so Amy's taking the boys to the zoo *
Amy- Are you ready John? * Amy shouts from the living room, she's putting Ricky Jr. in his carrier
John- Yes! But mom can I bring my spider man in the car?
Amy- Sure buddy, but hurry up because I wanna get a good parking spot
John- Okay!
*20 mins later they've arrived at the zoo!*
*Amy's getting RJ's stroller out of the trunk when she hears him crying*
John- Uh mom.. I think someone went to the bathroom *he says covering his nose*
Amy- Common RJ, I just changed you! * RJ starts giggling * So now you're laughing? I'm not having anymore kids....
John- Thank God* he mumbles *
* After Amy changes RJ they walk in the zoo *  
John- OOO mom look at the turtles and baby turtles!!
Amy- I bet she doesn't have to change diapers...
*blackout*
