**Trigger Warning**
It's Wednesday and I'm supposed to be at school, but I faked being sick so I could skip. My parents are both at work, so I don't need to worry about them for a little bit longer.
I shouldn't have waited so long. They could be home before I'm done. I just couldn't find the nerve to do this until now. Until this moment, when something soul crushing has just happened to me.
I sit on my bed. I'm going to miss my room. This was my sanctuary, my go to place to hide out when it all becomes too much. I won't need it now.
I take a mouthful of water from the cup I have in my hand, then put a few pills in my mouth and swallow. I repeat the process until I can't. It's all fading to black. I'm just about to go completely, when I hear my mother screaming. However, it's too late, and I drift away.
