I looked around the little apartment for my bag. It had my feminine things in it. I took out the pregnancy test. I checked I only saw one line disappointed, I put the pregnancy test on the table. Ryan walked in the room and went to the bathroom were I put the pregnancy test I ran over.
Ka- don't!
R- babe
Ka- yeah?
R- why are there two lines
Ka- what!
I ran over and picked up the test
Ka- OMG
R- what does it mean
Ka- I-I'm pregnant
R- we are going to be parents
Ka- I love you
R- I love you too
Ka- how are we going to tell everyone
R- maybe a present
Ka- I'll figure something out
Ryan left the room speechless I just stood there hoping for the best of our child. I grabbed a box and put the pregnancy test in. Hoping everyone would get the gist. Suddenly someone walked in the room it was Alex and Siobhan.
A- this is going to sound weird but we are both here for the same reason.
S- we need a test
Ka- you mean a preg-
A and S- shh!
Ka - ok Gease
I ran over to my bag and took out two tests.
Ka- here
A- thanks
Siobhan waited for Alex to leave the room
S- I want to check with you
Ka- ok
S- no I mean you have to check yourself too
Ka- oh that's not a good idea for me.... I wouldn't be pregnant anyway
She looked at me stunned because usually I'll do anything if it means we are together.
S- ok well I'm going to go check
She went into the bathroom and came out disappointed.
S- there's only one line
Ka- let me see
I looked at the test there were two lines the second one was just hella faded though
Ka- there's two lines!
Ka- one is really faded though
S- omg thank you Katie I have to show max right away!
Ka- your welcome... Have fun
I felt guilty not telling her. She's been my best friend since day 1. She may be my best friend but she's also my cousin. I have to make this work. How will I tell everyone. I'll go with the present thing. Ryan is right all I have to do is give them the present. I walked out of the apartment. I called everyone to a group meeting. Siobhan and Max were the first ones there. Then Bryan and Alex and then Johnnie and Kyle. Kyle was still recovering so we let him borrow the wheel chair in the back of our car.
R- I call this meeting to order
S- well we have something we want to tell everyone.
M- Siobhan is pregnant
A- omg that's what I had to say! I'm pregnant too!
I stood quiet knowing I had to say it.
Ryan looked at me
R- does anyone else have anything to say.
I still stood there quiet. Regretting every second.
R- ok then that's it I guess
K-no it's not um
I heard groaning
K-WAVE OF ZOMBIES DEAD AHEAD
A- nothing's sharp and we have no amo left
K- then we should just hide
