After Steve came out of the ice, he had to find if Peggy was still alive. When he did he debated to see her.
" Will she even remember me?" He thought to himself. " I should go see her before she dies."
One day after the battle of New York, Steve decided to see Peggy. He had already talked to the person taking care of her and they let him see her.
Peggy was old and couldn't remember much, but the one thing she remembered was her date to dance. She was bedridden and it was only a matter of time before she died. When she saw Steve walk into her room with flowers she lit up.
" Hi, Peggy," Steve nervously said hoping that she would remember him.
" Steve, you're late," She said.
