"Is that mommy, dad?"
"Yes that is her darling. Isn't she lovely?"
I turn the photo around. 12th April 2012.
"The photo was made on your birthday."
I whisper, kissing her head head.
The photo was made on the day your mother died. The day she was about to kill herself, the day she pleaded with tears in her eyes that I would pull the trigger so the bullet would burn itself into her heart.
The day that she was killed by my boss, mercilessly. There were times were I had wanted her to be gone, but now when I look to your eyes, my child, I know how much your mother really did for me.
Loving you, our own flesh and blood, is my honor today.
