An Old Friend ~Ash X Reader~

Chapter 2

*At the Poké Center; (Y/n)'s p.o.v.*

I have nurse joy my Charizard, Lucario and Pikachu as she took them to the back to heal them up. I sat patiently with the others as we talked about random things. "Oh wait, I never met the rest of your guys's Pokémon!" I said as realization hit and everyone else nodded. "I never showed you Dedenne!" Bonnie said opening her purse showing a little Dedenne. "Aww how cute!" I said gently petting Dedenne's head. "This is pancham and Fennekin." Serena said letting her two Pokémkn out. "Wow Fennekin's fur is SO soft!" I sad smiling as I pet her gently. I held my fist towards Pancham meaning a fist bump and he accepted, us doing a little friendship type hand shake/fist bump. "Cham, Pan Pancham!!" Pancham said happily as I smiled. "This is bunnelby, and chespin." Clemont said as he let his Pokémon out and Chespin jumped onto my lap. "Che Che Chespin!!" Chespin said jumping up and down as Arcanine growled a little bit at him. "It's okay girl." I said petting her head as she calmed down and started to play with Chespin when he jumped off of my hat. "Bunnelby!" Bunnelby said as I shook it's paw. "And these are my Pokémon," ash continued. "You already know Pikachu, so here's the others. Frogadier, Fletchinder, Hawlucha, and Goomy." Ash said as they all started to surround me. "Nice to meet you all. "Hawlucha started to show off so then the rest of Ash's Pokémon started to show off to. "It appears that Ash's Pokémon seem to like (Y/n) a lot, because they don't usually show off like this.... Except for Hawlucha.." Clemont said fixing his glasses as I blushed a light pink at the thought of Ash's Pokémon liking me. "(Y/n) your Pokémon are ready." Nurse joy said smiling as she came out of the back with Charizard's Pokéball and Lucario's Pokéball. Pikachu ran up to me and nuzzled me, but not enough to shock me. "Oh wait, all your Pokémon need to meet mine!" I said as everyone's Pokémon nodded and started to cheer. "Okay so this is Pikachu and Arcanine, they're more like sisters. But here's everybody else." I said as everyone slowly started to come out. "Charizard." "Lucario." "Vaporeon." "Espeon." "Flareon." "Umbreon." "Leafeon." "Sylveon." "Glaceon." "Jolteon." All my Pokémon said as they came out. Chespin Immediately went over to Sylveon with heart eyes. "Che Chespin Chespin! Pin!" Chespin said as Sylveon smiled and gave Chespin a hug with her feelers. Chespin' heart eyes immediately got bigger. "Chespin Chespin! Che! Pin!" Chespin said as he hugged Sylveon back and nuzzled her cheek. "Well Chespin has a cruuuush." I teased as Sylveon blushed a little bit and looked away. "Awe how cute!" Serena said smiling as Clemont nodded. "Yeah, and this one isn't rejecting Chespin!" Clemont said as we all laughed. In the meantime Charizard and the rest of my Pokémon along with everyone else's got along pretty well. My Pikachu jumped off of my shoulder and Ash's Pikachu did the same. They went over to each other on the ground and started to play around and nuzzle each other lovingly. "It looks like both of your Pikachu's love each other!" Bonnie said with stars in her eyes as I smiled. "I guess so.." I said smiling as Serena and Clemont smiled. Ash seemed lost in thought. "Hey ash you okay?" I asked waving my hand in from of him as he snapped out of his thoughts and blushed a tiny bit. "O-oh um yeah. I'm fine. Want to have a battle?" Ash replied as I pondered it for a second. "Hmmm it depends. What's in it for me?" I asked smirking as Ash had a determined look on his face. "The loser buys the winner dinner! But of course I'll win." Ash said smirking as I smirked back. "Who said you'll win?" I asked in a sassy tone as Bonnie just "oooohhhhh'ed."  "Me, I said I'll win." Ash said chuckling a little bit as I playfully punched him in his shoulder. "Oh shut up you." I said blushing a little bit as Serena and Clemont nudged each other about me and Ash. "Well c'mon lets battle!" Ash said returning his Pokémon before jumping up. I returned mine as I nodded.

*On the battle field*

I smirked as I turned my hat around so it was backwards. "Let's do this!" I said cracking my knuckles as ash nodded. "Frogadier lets go!" Ash yelled letting Frogadier out. "Okay Pikachu let's go!" I said as my Pikachu entered the arena. "You two can only have one Pokémon, so make this battle count. The loser buys the winner dinner." Clemont said as ash and Serena were cheering. "Okay Pikachu use electro ball!" "Dodge it and use water pulse!" "Pikachu come on get up girl! Use quick attack and slam!" "Use double team!" "Use thunderbolt!" "Frogadier get up you can do it! Use smoke screen and hydro pump!" "Dodge it and use nuzzle and slam!" "Quick use water pulse!" There was smoke everywhere and when it cleared Frogadier was out. "Frogadier is unable to battle, Pikachu wins!" Clemont said as my Pikachu jumped into my arms. "We did it! Yay a free dinner!" I said as my Pikachu replied happily by saying her name. "You did good Frohadier, you deserve a good rest." Ash said returning his Pokémon. "Great battle!" I said as ash walked up to me. "Yeah, your Pokémon are so powerful! No wonder you won against Diantha!" Ash said smiling as I blushed a light pink and nodded. "Hey ash, Bonnie, Clemont and I are going to get all of us a hotel room near the Pokémon Center. We'll see you after the dinner." Serena said smiling as her Clemont and Bonnie started to walk away. "Wait! You're not coming with us?" I asked as they shook their heads. "I want to work on my inventions." Clemont said smiling. "And I think you two need some alone time." Serena said winking at me as I blushed. "Wait before you go, Bonnie? Can you please take care of my Pokémon while I'm gone? I'm only taking Arcanine and Pikachu." I said as Bonnie smiled and jumped up and down excitedly. "Yes I'd LOVE to!" Bonnie said with stars in her eyes as I nodded. I let out all of my Pokémon. "Okay guys you will be with Serena, Clemont and Bonnie for awhile. Bonnie will be taking care of you ok? So I expect you to be good or no desserts for you later." I said as all my Pokémon nodded. "Okay bye guys, see you later!" I said as Ash, our Pikachu's, and my Arcanine started to walk to the restaurant. When we got there, we were seated immediately on the balcony. It was now dark out so the whole city was lit up and there were fairy lights on the balcony. "I knew Lumiose city was pretty but I never saw it at night. It's beautiful." I said looking around as Ash nodded. "Yeah, and our Pokèmon seem to like it." Ash said as I nodded and looked at them having a good time. "So how have you been all these years ash?" I asked while taking a bite of my food. "Pretty good actually. I've made a lot of friends... But how have YOU been. I haven't seen you in years." Ash said smiling as I smiled back. "I've been good. I've won a lot of battles and I've finally achieved my dream... And I finally have an old friend back..." I said smiling as ash smiled back. "Yeah I missed you a lot (Y/n)... You were the only thing that kept me going all these years.." Ash said putting his hand on mine as I blushed a little bit. When we finished our food the bill came. I was about to grab it when ash took it. "In paying the bill you beat me in the battle remember?" Ash said looking at the bill. "At least let me pay for the Pokémon's food." I said as Ash stubbornly said no. "Then we're going to get ice cream and I'm paying." I said strictly as ash just chuckled and nodded.

*getting ice cream Ash's p.o.v.*

I wasn't going to argue with (Y/n) about the ice cream. She's just how I remember her when we were kids... I was snapped out of my thoughts when(Y/n) waved a hand in from of my face. "Ash you okay? Your ice cream is starting to melt." (Y/n) said giggling as my hand started to get sticky from the ice cream. "Aagh no!" I said trying to eat my ice cream before it started to get even messier. "This was fun tonight." (Y/n) said smiling as she looked at me. "Yeah... It was. I hope we can do it again sometime." (Y/n) said looking at her phone as she finished her ice cream. "Serena texted me what room they are in. C'mon!" (Y/n) said as her Pikachu got on her shoulder and her Arcanine ran by her side. I ran after her and soon enough we reached the hotel. When we got to the room Serena opened the door. "Oh hey you're here! We were just about to call you! We were all gonna go to bed." Serena said as (Y/n) smiled at her, and (Y/n) and I walked into the hotel room. "We already decided who's sleeping where. Clemont is sleeping on the couch, me and Bonnie are sharing a bed and you and (Y/n) are sharing a bed." Serena said smiling as (Y/n) blushed a little bit. "O-okay. I'm gonna go change into my pajamas." (Y/n) said grabbing her bag and walking into the bathroom.

*Your pajamas, I would actually love to have these.; (Y/n)'s p.o.v.*

When I walked out of the bathroom ash just stared at me. "I like your pajamas." Ash said smiling as I blushed. "I know it seems childish but I LOVE these pajamas." I said blushing as my Pikachu jumped onto my shoulder and nuzzled me gently. "Well let's go to bed, I need to be on my way to the Laverre City gym tomorrow." Ash said as he laid on one side of the bed and I laid on the other. We both got under the covers and I drifted to sleep.

*later in the night*

I was peacefully sleeping until I woke up. I looked over and saw that ash had his arms around my waist. My fave turned as red as a tomato as I tried to wriggle free. I eventually gave up because Ash's grip only tightened. I laid back down onto my pillow and moved over a little bit. I kissed Ash's cheek as I turned around and fell back asleep. Listening to his soft snores.

*In the morning, Ash's p.o.v.*

I woke up and saw that my hands were wrapped around (Y/n)'s waist. I blushed a little bit remembering last night. (Y/n) started to wriggle around because my hands were holding her back. She eventually gave up and I tried not to smile. She kissed my cheek and she turned around to fall back asleep. I smiled as I drifted back to sleep.
