Dr. Cerva's P.O.V
I was sitting in my office moping around like I normally do when Dr. Coleman came in. I despised him ever since he told me he had put Lou to sleep. She was the only mutant that I had, had a personal connection with. To me she was like the child I never had "There's someone you might want to see. In the avian ward" he smirked.
I walked passed him hiding my confusion. That ward was shut down 4 years ago when Lou had escaped. I opened the door of the ward to see a small twelve year old girl with chocolatey brown skin and big blue eyes staring back at me. Behind her were the most beautiful white and blue wings. The left one was injured but was healing fast.
"Lou" I whispered.
Just then Dr. Coleman came in."Ooh what a heart warming reunion," he said sarcastically"I just came in to say pour your hearts out to each other because this talk will be your last. Allouette, my little birdy friend I'll be putting you to sleep soon." He sauntered out of the room. Lou looked terrified and defeated.
"Don't worry Lou I'm gonna get you out of here" I smiled.
