2. A New Place

Also I know very few things about fraternities so please excuse me if there are stuff that look a bit weird...thank you!

Sanji's P.O.V.

Damn it I can't find anything this newspaper doesn't have anything proper. Every house is too expensive and others are too big.  There are fraternities that had all kind of people mixed up together making some sort of teams so you have to like the same things to get there. I don't want to stuck up with anyone I just want to leave this freakin mouse hole and that weirdo to get my own space.

I've been only one month here. I'm living at a dorm just to get used to the place and lean the streets etc.

I can't afford a whole house to myself so that's why I'm looking for a fraternity to join because it's much more affordable than the dorm. But every fraternity seems so stupid because there's a theme everywhere and there are over 10 people living per house so nothing's good enough. Now you'll think that a fraternity is the worst place to actually have your own space...what I'm actually looking for is a spare bedroom. Just to sleep alone.

I sighed and left the newspaper on the nightstand. I was just sitting on my bed waiting for a freakin miracle. I rubbed my face with my hands. I decided to go for a walk. I can't just stay in this hole without doing anything. Thank God that blue-spiky haired weirdo is not here at the moment. I sighed again and got up.

I changed into jeans and a plain black shirt. I grabbed my phone, wallet and keys and I was ready to go out. I turned the doorknob only to find a surprise.

Franky was standing in the other side of the door just about to come in.

Great. Just Great.

"Ow where are you up to man?" He said with that raspy voice of his.

"I'm just going for a walk" I plainly muttered.

"Alone?" He asked coming inside and closing the door. I just told him I'm leaving WHY THE HELL DID HE CLOSE THE DOOR?!?!?!

"Uughh..." I sighed trying to hold my temper "Since I don't know anybody here then yes, alone" I replied as calm as I possibly could.

"Are you still looking for a place?"

"Yes but I can't find shit" I rolled my eyes.

"Well if you're interested there are posters all over the place about a fraternity that needs another member" He informed me.

It's probably one of those I read on the newspaper so I'm not expecting anything.

"Yeah ok thanks...I'll check it out" I plainly said only to avoid more conversation.

"Ok then I hope you find your place! It's gonna be superrrr cool" He cheerily said doing a weird pose, connecting with his hands on the air...I don't get it.

"Ok..um..thanks" I fake-smiled and walked out the door.

He's not a bad guy he's just...weird I guess. Anyway...I walked down the halls and got out of the dorms building. I lit a cigarette once I got outside. I wandered for a while until I saw a poster on a column of a building.

"Is that what he was talking about?"
I went closer to read it.

'ΗΛΣ' read the top of the poster. I guess that's the name of the fraternity.
(Pronounced Eta Lamda Sigma)

"I don't remember seeing this one again" I said to myself. I read further.

'We want a new person in the house just because we're 5 and we want a 6th person to fill that empty room. It could be anyone so join if you're interested. Our fraternity consists of 64 members in total and it's one of the most popular in campus.

"Well..."

"There's no theme or anything like that mentioned...and there's an empty room...so I guess..."

I felt like a miracle has happened. There was no theme and there were only 5 people. I thought fraternities had way more people in the house but anyway.

I read at the bottom to see a couple of phone numbers and the address of where the house was located.

"302 Link Drive? That's only five minutes walking, it's perfect!" I smiled. God finally.

I immediately pulled my phone from my pocket and dialed the first number that was written. After three rings the person picked up.

"Hello?" The person answered.

"Um hello, I called because I saw the poster where you say you want a member for your fraternity" I was kinda nervous. I've never joined a fraternity before.

"Oh finally we've been waiting for a year for that call!" The man said. He had a kind tenor voice that was inviting.

"That's great to hear. When can I visit to see the house and talk about the rest and well...meet the people?" I asked.

"You can come in the afternoon at 6, we'll be waiting" He answered.

"Ok then I'll be there"

"Oh, what's your name by the way?" He asked.

"I'm Sanji"

"Ok Sanji we'll see you then, bye" He said and hang up.

It's 11 in the morning so I have 7 hours. Damn it when will they pass? I can't wait to see the place. I wonder if there are any ladies living there. 

(I know that fraternities consist only of men, Sanji just doesn't know that girls have the sororities)

I rushed back into my dorm room and Franky was sitting on his bed with his laptop on his lap.

"What happened?" He asked concerned.

"That poster you told me actually worked! I'm going to see the place in the afternoon" I said smiling.

"Ooww suupeeeeerrr! Didn't I tell you you'd find something?" He exclaimed proudly.

"Thanks man" I kept my smile.

"You're gonna have a superrrr house and superrrr people and a superrrr bedroom ooow that's great Sanji!" He started talking like that and I just laughed at his actions and jokes.

~Meanwhile at the frat house...

Writer's P.O.V.

"Oi guys" Sabo called from the living room.

"What is it?" Law said from the kitchen.

"Guess what!" Sabo walked in the kitchen where Law and Ace were.

"Spit it out" Ace said half asleep while eating a peanut butter sandwich.

"I received a call just now and finally someone was interested to join us" He said smiling.

"Really?" Law said in disbelief. "Who's the person?" He asked.

"It's a guy named Sanji, he'll come at 6 so clean the place a little bit" Sabo informed them.

"I hope he's not a dork and doesn't steal food" Ace muttered.

"Ace we'll see him later stop judging" Sabo rolled his eyes.

"Ok I'll go finish studies and then tidy up a bit...Luffy-ya screwed up the place again" Law said and left the kitchen.

Luffy and Zoro were still sleeping. Ace and Sabo talked a little bit more and then went to clean up the messy house for the new guest. They were happy that someone finally noticed them.

Little did they know that Sanji's arrival was about to change their lives for good...

And little did Sanji know that the fraternity was not going to ease his life at all...
