[Eli’s POV]

I’ve prepared everything from the decoration around our garden to the foods that we’d be munching on later.

Time check! 7:45pm.

“She’d be here shortly.” I said to myself with that tone of excitement hiding between my grin.

I made my last checking round before letting it go and just waited for Ellie to arrive at our living room.

Time check! 8:00pm.

I heard our doorbell rang so I stood up from our couch to open the door. I signaled Yvette (my mom’s trusted maid) to continue what she’s doing and that I’d open the door.

I opened the door slowly. As the gap widens, I can see Ellie wearing a white loose shirt plus skinny jeans and her old chucks. :) I smiled from amusement. I thought to myself, “Is she really mine? Is she really my girlfriend? This simple girl who wears a shirt, jeans and an old pair of Chucks makes it look like it’s worth of 100 G’s. I am lucky. INDEED!”

I snapped back to reality when I heard her talk saying, “Baks? You okay? :) Gutom ka na ba?” Then she laughed while I chuckled and held her hand.

“Come in, my lady. :) You’re in for a treat tonight. Good evening to you, my princess.” I said as I kiss the back of her right hand.

“Why so sweet, my love? May nagawa ka bang mali?” Tanong niya. :) Wala namang mali. I smiled and answered her simply as…

“Wala. Masama na ba maging masaya? :) Haha! Excited lang ako ngayon, Babs.”

She flashed her brightest smile and said, “Me too. :) Thank you! :*”

After the small talk, we went straight to the garden and the amazement in her eyes when she saw how it turned out really is worth taking the extra effort to make her happy. :’)

“WOW! :”> You did this? Or si Tita Elinor? Haha!” Tanong niya sa akin. Hinalikan ko nalang siya sa noo at niyakap. Binitawan ko siya at nagpunta sa likod niya at niyakap siya doon sabay bulong sa kanya na, “You like it? :) I did this all for you. With MINOR help from Mom.” I said. :) Well, minor na yung gift ko talaga para sa kanya for the whole week yung nabigay na tulong ni Mom pero for tonight, I did everything. :”> Ang sagwa naman na ibang tao gumawa nito para sa girlfriend ko diba? :D Haha!

“Thank you, my love! You never fail to amaze me with every little thing you do! I love you! Thank you for everything especially for setting this up. :*” Saying that before breaking my embrace and kissed me at my forehead and cheeks. :”> Kung ganito ba naman, hinding-hindi ako magsasawa gawin lahat ng ito kahit paulit-ulit pa. :”>

Umupo na kami. Of course, inalalayan ko siya bago ako umupo. Kumain na kami ng by course. Starting from the soup to the bread to appetizers to the entrée to the main courses then dessert! :) I’ve cooked all the meals with the help of our chef. :D Thanks Chef Dylan.

Habang kumakain, nag-usap lang kami tungkol sa kahapon at sa mga ginawa namin kaninang umaga. Inuusisa niya nga yung package na kinuha ko. Kung ano daw laman nun at bakit ako daw kailangan kumuha. Sinabi ko nalang na important documents at ibang padala na small antique pieces from U.S. kaya tumigil na kami doon. Lahat pala ng kinakain namin na niluto ko, favorite niya. :’) Nakakatuwa nga kasi gustong gusto niya lahat. :D Wow! Ang saya lang ng gabing ito. :’) 5 more days, Ellie. 5 more days.
