Nobody's POV

Misaki was sitting in the nurses office at his Highschool, as Misaki hadn't been feeling very well for the past few days. But he couldn't tell Usagi, who would know what he would have done to Misaki. Probably lock him up all day, so, Misaki kept it to himself. It wasn't anything serious anyways, just headaches, runny noses and a small cough. However there was one downside to this, the nurse wanted Misaki to be sent home so he could rest. Meaning he would need to get a ride.
Meaning he would have to tell Usagi that he's sick.

Misaki didn't want to and kept insisting that he would be fine in school. But the nurse didn't buy it. She decided to go into Misaki's records to find the number they had saved incase if the school needed to contact his guardian- Usagi.

Misaki sat in his seat, hugging his torso and looking like a defeated child who lost an argument with his parents. Occasionally coughing and covering his mouth with the inside of his elbow.

The nurse finished calling Usagi and turned back to Misaki. Looking at him with a smile.

"He said he will be there as soon as possible." She said. Misaki sighed and nodded.

"Thanks.." Misaki said softly. Standing up and making his way to the door, then to the exit of the school. Usually students waited outside of the school for their guardian to pick them up. Some people thought it was quicker and plus, the school was strict with phones.

Misaki sat on the schools steps as he waited for the red sports car to drive up, not exited for Usagi's reaction to him being sick and not telling him. But Misaki's train of thought was quickly ruined when he heard a loud booming around coming from the sky, looking up instantly to see large parties of gray clouds.

Misaki whimpered to himself and hugged his own torso. Looking down and tucking his face into his knees. Now praying for Usagi to hurry and get him.

The booming got louder and soon it began to pour large drops of rain. Misaki tensing up and shaking rapidly as he hugged himself. The air was cold, he felt like he was frozen and he could barely breathe properly.

Usagi drove to Misaki's school, a worried mess. Why didn't Misaki tell him he was sick?! He didn't understand. He didn't notice anything and he was beating himself up for it, he felt bad that he didn't realize his lover was sick. Usagi sighed and looked at the clouds when he heard a large boom.

"Oh no.."

Usagi slammed the gas and began to speed to the school, he knew exactly what was happening with Misaki, as this had happened before. He knew Misaki was terrified of storms, and he rightfully assumed Misaki was waiting outside inside of the storm for him.

Finally Usagi made it to the front of the school, looking out his window to see Misski hugging himself, sitting on the stairs. Usagi quickly opened the car door and ran out, over to Misaki. Removing is coat as he ran over to him and when he got to him he could hear Misaki's heavy and uneven breathing pattern. He knelt down next to him and gently places his hand on his back. Misaki flinched at the touch, his head shooting up and he looked to see who had touched him, and the sight broke Usagi's heart. Misaki's eyes were bright red and he had tears streaming down his face. His cheeks where slightly pink from being so cold.

Misaki soon relaxed slightly when he realized that it was just Usagi. Putting his face back into his knees.

"It's alright Misaki, I'm gonna put my coat on you and take you into the car okay? We're going home." He cooed, gently rubbing his back as Misaki sobbed into his knees. Softly nodding. Usagi draped his coat over Misaki, including his head so he wasn't being poured on by the rain. Usagi then gently lifted him up bridal style, Misaki clung to Usagi, hugging his neck as he sobbed into his chest. He was shaking violently.

"It's okay.." He cooed as he hurried to his car. Placing Misaki in the passengers seat and then buckling him in. Shutting the door and getting into the drivers seat. Usagi turned the radio on and put the volume on low to try to soothe Misaki for the time being. Usagi began to drive back to their apartment quickly. The only sounds being the booms of thunder, tapping of rain, the small music that was playing and Misaki's sobs.

Misaki wrapped himself more in Usagi's jacket as he became more anxious. Usagi figured it was because Misaki was being reminded of the day his parents died in a car crash, and as much as it pained Usagi, he couldn't slow down. He needed to get Misaki home, as soon as possible.

After a somewhat short trip back home, Usagi parked the car and got out, the storm still over them, Usagi picked up Misaki and ran into the building, to the elevator, and then he bolted to their apartment. Misaki was a shaking and crying mess the entire time.

Once they made it into the apartment, Usagi took a quick deep breath before making his way to the bedroom, laying Misaki down on their bed and gripped into the bedsheets, squeaking loudly when another roar of thunder came over them. Usagi laid down next to Misaki, pulling a fuzzy blanket over the two of them and Misaki clung to Usagi, sobbing into his chest. His breathing still heavy and uneven.

Usagi wrapped his arms around Misaki, one hand on his back and he gently rubbed at his head with the other. Talking softly into his hear

"It's okay Misaki..Come on, breathe with me okay? 1..2..3.." He waited a couple seconds "now exhale 1..2..3.." He cooed.

Misaki tried to follow Ussgi's breathing, but he was obviously struggling. Usagi gently kissed his head.

"Good job, Misaki, you're alright. Lets do it again okay? 1..2..3.....and now exhale 1..2..3" he repeated. Misaki tried again, slightly improving. But he was still shaking and softly sobbing. Another boom of thunder and Misaki tensed up. Crying into Usagi's torso.

"Please..make it s-stop.." Misaki said softly, his voice pained Usagi so much. It sounded so pained, almost broken.

"I'm gonna go get something okay, Misaki? I promise I'll be near you." He said before slowly scooting out of bed. Placing a kiss on his slightly sweaty forehead before he quickly walked to their closet, in search of a pair of ear muffs they had gotten a few days ago since it was starting to get colder. When he finally found them he made his way back to his crying lover, laying down next to him again and gently placing the earmuffs on Misaki. He flinched at first.

"It's okay, Misski." He said softly. Misaki nodded and let Usagi put the ear muffs on him. Then Usagi took out his phone and turned on some soothing music, the volume on high. Usagi did his best to hide the booms from outside. Misaki still faintly heard them but his reaction was better.

"Can you hear me, Misaki?" He asked softly. Misaki nodded and Usagi kissed his forehead softly.

"Let's try that breathing again. 1..2..3....exhale 1..2..3.." He cooed into his ear. Kissing his cheek afterwards. "1..2..3..exhale 1..2..3.." He repeated. Misaki's breathing slowly calmed down. Which relieved Usagi, he ran his hand up and down Misaki's back to try and further soothe him.

Misaki sniffled and looked up at Usagi, Usagi wiped away his tears and kissed him softly.

"You're okay Misaki." He smiled, Misaki slowly nodded and hugged Usagi tightly, he had stopped shaking and his breathing was a lot more even.

"..I love you, Usagi-San." Misaki said softly. Catching Usagi by surprise before he smiled and kissed his head "I love you too, Misaki."

After about a half an hour, Misaki had managed to fall asleep. Which made Usagi happy. He ran his fingers through his hair and Misaki nuzzled into him as he slept. And eventually, Usagi fell asleep as well. The rain calming down and the music still playing as they both slept in each others arms for the rest of the night.
