"Okay, now that you have your annoying dog, you have to come down!" Undyne says. "The king and queen have been looking for you!"

I groaned. "Again? Let me guess, another suitor?"

"Sadly, yes. Also they would like to discuss plans about the upcoming masquerade ball with you." She explains.

"Just tell whoever is there that I said no. If they ask why, just tell them that I'm not interested and will never be interested." I say, patting the little white dogs head as he barked.

"If I could, your majesty, I would. But you know that you have to be the one to tell them yourself." She says.

"Mother and father will get mad at me if I say no again." I said.

"Do you have a choice?"

I was silent for a moment before sighing and opening my eyes.

"No."

"Well, lets go."

I groaned as I sat upright and lightly kissed the white dog's forehead before I held him out.

"Undyne!" I call out. "Catch him!"

Undyne turns around as I let Snowball go, letting him fall. Undyne quickly catches him while I jumped down, holding the ends of my frilly dress. I hate wearing dresses like this. There too frilly, itchy, and really hot. I can't to change it later. Once my feet landed on the grassy ground of the castle garden, Undyne rolled her eyes and handed Snowball over to me.

"Now lets get this over with." I say as I began to walk towards the castle..

"Sometimes I wonder how your a princess." Undyne shakes her head.

"Hey! I never asked for this." I retort.

The sound of trumpets can be heard behind the two gigantic double doors as they slowly began to open, revealing a long red carpet that lead up to five thrones, two being occupied by King Asgore and Queen Toriel. Aka, my parents. As the trumpets continued to play, Undyne walked beside me, a bright glowing blue sphere in her hand.

"Is this really necessary?" I quietly whisper to Undyne.

"Not necessary, but I have no authority to say otherwise." She whispers back.

When we finally made it in front of them, I held the ends of my dress and did a small curtsy, to be polite and give respect, at least that's what they taught me.

"Presenting her majesty, Princes Francesca the Human Dreemurr." Undyne announced.

"Good afternoon mother, father." I greeted.

"My child, where have you been?" Toriel asks, worriedly.

"I'm fine, I was just in the castle gardens playing with Snowball." I say as Snowball barks, as if to agree. "More like hiding away from you guys..." I quietly muttered.

"Well since you are here, we can finally discus about you getting married." Asgore says.

"Ugh... not this again." I crossed my arms.

"Now, now young lady, we've talked about this before." He started. "You will be turning eighteen soon and you need to-"

"-find someone you will be betrothed to so that you may one day rule over the kingdom as queen." I finished. "But I'm only turning eighteen! I'm too young! Why don't you let Chara rule over? She's turning eighteen too!"

"Chara may be turning eighteen as well, but that does not change the fact that you are still the older one, my child." Toriel answers.

"If we could, we would let Chara rule over. She is mature enough to understand her roll. However as tradition, the eldest child of the family must be the one that will take our place." He says.
