Stares at the Wall
No expression at all
He hears something crawl
As he turns around
Nothing to see
Just the voices in his head
Whispering thoughts
Upon the bed
He lays his head
Closes his eyes and hopes for the best
But it doesn't end here
The finish isn't near
He begins to dream
About happiness and love
Everything is perfect
Until a monster is here
The monster rips up his dreams
And turns them into shreds
He creates a new dream
Full of sadness and fear
He wakes up relieved
But the relief vanishes
Because he knew the monster's dream was reality
