Supposed to be a 'Nerd' !

Maddison POV 

What am I supposed to do now? I've run away from it all with nothing but my fighting duffle bag, my costume, my phone ! Where am I supposed to go now?

Okay let's just calm down for a minute and start thinking logically again, I stop running after 10 minutes and sit on a random wall in the middle of a street lit only by lampposts since it's gotten dark now. I put my bag down next to me and take a deep breath, should I go to this fight tonight? I have 4 fights tonight so that should get me about £400 just for tonight if I win them all which I think I will.

I get my phone out and pull up google maps because I lost track of where I was running after about 5 minutes, okay so I'm on Thorny road in the middle of town and the fights are being held in an abandoned school just outside of the main part of town. That's about 5 minutes away yes, no more running!

I start walking towards where I need to be and just start thinking everything over, when did my life get so complicated?!

The main thing that I need to think about is the whole arranged marriage thing, can I go through with it? If I do will everything still stay the same or will it all just get worse? Is their a possibility that it could all get better and we could end up being happy together like Mrs Minter said? I don't know why I'm even considering this! He hates me and he's my bully, I don't want to be stuck in an abusive relationship for basically the rest of my life! I mean theirs always divorce but if I know the marriage isn't gunna work way before actually getting married then what's the point of getting married in the first place?!

I've always wanted the man I marry to be the only man I ever marry and I want to be in love with him, I never even thought it would turn out like this!

As I just mill over my options I see the creepy old school building come into view and see the woman who organises all the fights stood at the side window waiting for me, her names Gloria. She's a black woman about 40 she looks really intimidating and you wouldn't want to go near her but she's actually a really nice lady and I've known her since I started at the gym. She started the gym with Toby but broke away from him after and argument which is something we both have in common and also one of the main reasons why she's just let me start fighting for her straight away with no questions asked.

"Took you long enough!" She jokes as we climb into the window and past where the cage is being set up, some of the other fighters for tonight and they all look over at me in fear. It's actually quite funny to see people scared of me when they're all huge compared to me and you would think just by the size of them that they'd be able to practically kill me but I've actually beaten most of the people here apart from Gloria at one point or another.

"It's been a long day and an even longer night." Is all I say as she leads me to an empty classroom for me to change, she closes the door and looks at me with a bit of amusement in her eyes.

"What can be so bad that it's stressing out 'The Undefeated' ?!" She asks as I take off the top and jeans I have on over the top of my costume, I take out a mirror from my bag and start putting my solid black contact lenses in.

"Well apart from the fact that my hands fucked, I found my dads number hidden from me by my mum oh  and I'm getting an arranged marriage! Nothin much!" I say as I lay on my back with my eyes closed and my legs bent, up until I said it out load it somehow didn't seem real but now it's all sunk in. The only reason I'm so openly telling her all this is because she knows why I started fighting and all that stuff so I might as well tell her this, she might be able to help?

"Oh god sorry I didn't know!" She says kneeling down and hugging me whilst I start to cry into her shoulder, why me? What did I do to deserve to be treated like this by everyone at school? What did I do to make my dad potentially not want me? Most of all what did u do to my mum to make her hate me enough to do all of this to me?!
