Chapter 1040

Kamal's POV
I helped Kalani get ready and she laid in bed and soon fell asleep.
I started pacing up and down her room.
I need to do something.

I called my mum
"Mum?"
"Hey, you okay?"
"Erm kinda, are you with dad?"
"Yh why?"
"Can you put it on speaker?"
"Yh sure"
"Okay so I broke into Kalani's house today"
"Wdym?" They both questioned
"She wasn't answering her phone or the door or any of my messages so I was concerned"
"Where's her mum?"
"Work"
"Was Kalani home?"
"Yh she was drowning herself in the bathroom." I said trying to stay calm
"What?!"
"Yh her mum beat her up again. Really badly. Like the bruises are really bad. And her mum called her a hoe"
"Wow"
"Yh I need some advice here. What am I meant to do?"
"Where's Kalani now?"
"sleeping"
"Well she can't stay there" dad said
"Ik" I sighed
"Isaac, she's gonna have to come and stay here. Like she has to"
"Ik" dad replied
There was a slight pause
"Bring her here when she wakes up" dad said
"Seriously?!"
"Yh"
"Thanks mum, thanks dad"
"Np son"
"Np"
"See you later"
"Bye"
*locked off*

I sighed and sat at the end of her bed. This is actually my fault completely.
I called my twin to talk things off.
He answered on the second ring.
"Waagwaan"
I explained to him the whole situation from start to finish
"Fucking hell" he sighed
"Ahhh I need your help"
"Course"
"Bring a couple big suitcases to Kalani's house I'll send the uber"
"calm"
"Thanks bro"
"Np"
*locked off"

I started to fold up all of Kalani's clothes ready to go in the suitcases.
She still had the suitcase of clothes I had bought her packed and hidden under her bed.

About 10 minutes later Jamal called to say he was outside so I brought him in and we quietly started to pack the suitcases full of all of her things. By the end, her bedroom was looking quite empty and me and Jamal carried the suitcases back downstairs and called another uber.
Uber fucking everywhere mate
"Can you take these back and ask mum and dad what room she can have?"
"Yh"
"Thanks bro" I gave him a man hug
"Np"
And with that he left

I went back upstairs and woke Kalani up
"Mmm?"
"Babe wake up"
She yawned and sat up in bed
"I need to show you something"
"Okay..?"
She got up, made her bed and we went downstairs. She slipped her shoes on and then we left.
I held her hand and we walked down the road and went to the cafe where I bought us both brunch.
I just needed to get her out the house whilst she was half asleep so she didn't realise her things weren't there.
I pree'd snapchat and her most recent post was "fml fr😴"
I sighed inwardly
"How you feeling?" I asked as we ate
She shrugged and looked down at her plate "fine"
"Kalani"
She looked up at me
"It's gonna be fine okay. Remember I promised. I got'chu"
She smiled and then nodded which made me smiled.

"So what did you wanna show me?" She questioned as we left the cafe
"You're about to see" I replied walking towards my house.

When we got there she was quite confused and so I took her up to my room and told her to wait there.

I went to Jamal's room and he was chilling with Jasmine
"Yo jazz what you telling me?"
she giggled "hi kamal"
I smiled "which ones hers?"
"Opposite from yours"
"Who's?"
"Kalani's"
"Is she here?! I haven't spoken to her and I was so worried"
"She's in my room"
"I'll brb" she said leaving and then me and Jamal went to Kalani's new room.

I started to unpack her suitcase and hung up all her clothes sorting them in colour instead of brands and Jamal helped me.
When we were done I gave Jamal one more man hug and then we went back to my room and Jasmine and Kalani were hugging and then Jamal and Jasmine left.
"What were you gonna show me now?"
I held out my hand for her to take and she did and I took her across the hall to the guest bedroom.
"What's this?"
"Your bedroom"
She gasped covering her mouth and turned to look at me, her eyes watering
She shook her head "Kamal-"
"It's yours, my parents said so"
She broke down in tears and gave me the biggest hug
"Thank you so much Kamal. Thank-"
"Stop thanking me. I did this so you could be happy"
She hugged me tighter and I kissed her forehead whilst she cried in my chest.
There was knocking on my door and then my parents walked in and Kalani went to go and give both of them such big hugs. I smiled and so did they.
"Thank you so much. It literally means the world to me that you guys would do this for me" she said inbetween tears
"That's okay honey" mum smiled
"Kalani, you live here now, it's for the best, I hope you feel at home and if there's any problems just let us know"
"Thank you so much, I couldn't be more grateful"
"That's no problem" and then they left
Kalani walked around her room and I just watched her.
She walked into her bathroom and then her closet
"When did all my clothes get here?"
"When you were asleep"
She smiled "Thank you"
"Babe-"
"I'm sorry I just don't know what else to say"
"I told you I wanted to give you the world b. This is only the first stage"
Her eyes started watering and she hugged me again
"I love you so much"
"I love you too beautiful"

I called Jarell and Janai into the room.
"Hi Kalani!" Janai smiled giving her a hug and Kalani hugged her back
"Jarell this is my girlfriend Kalani, Kalani, this is Jarell"
"Hi"
"Yo"
"Kalani's gonna be living here with us and this is her room"
"Cool" Jarell replied
"Like a sleepover?" Janai asked
I laughed "Yh"
"That's so cool!!" She smiled making Kalani smile
"Can I do your hair?" Kalani asked her
"Yh!!!!"
I smiled and left them too it.

I started preeing sc and replied to some messages but then got bored.
I'm glad Kalani's happy now. She don't have any siblings so acting like a big sister towards Janai is gonna be fun for both of them I guess.

I smiled and then went downstairs to my parents.
"Thank you"

Kalani's mums POV
I came home from worked dropped my keys on the side and flicked off my shoes.
I went into the kitchen where Kalani's meant to be cooking and nothing.
Ffs this stupid little girl.
I stormed up to her room and flung the door open and she wasn't even in there but her bed was made?
I opened her cupboard and it was completely empty.
Her room was empty.
She's gone.
