Isaac's POV
I got the kids in the car and drove to the hospital. So many things were flying around in my head.
What did they mean by "severe"?
Is she okay?
Is she concious?
I'm so worried about her.
"Daddy?"
"Yes princess?"
"Where's mummy?"
"Mummy is in hospital"
They gasped "why?"
I took a deep breath "she was in a car accident"
"Is she okay?" They asked
"Idk yet" I said continuing to drive
Janai started to cry
"It's okay princess" I gave the twins my phone "phone Aunty Aaliyah and grandma and grandad" they nodded and did as I said. By the time we got to the hospital, they had managed to call everyone. I walked in with the kids by my side and went to the front desk.
"Excuse Me"
"Wait a minute please" she said still looking down at her papers
"It's important" I said tryna keep my chill Infront of my children.
She looked up at me and did a double take
"Y-you're Isaac Richardson Riley"
I sighed inwardly "Yh Ik, my wife's in this hospital can you tell me where she is please?"
"Y-Yh sure" she said looking down at her computer
"Room 32 east wing"
I nodded and I took the kids there
We walked into the room and Rhea's body just looked lifeless as she lay on the bed. My heart started to feel heavy
"Why she sleeping daddy?"
"She's unconscious" a doctor said coming in
They looked back at me blankly
"It means she's not awake and she can't respond or reply to us" I said
"Oww"
"She can probably hear you though, so it's good to speak to her"
The kids surrounded Rhea and started speaking to her and Janai was telling her it's okay to wake up now.
Soon after my parents, parents in law and Aaliyah arrived
Rhea's mum and Aaliyah cried abit
I turned to the doctor "um who crashed into her?" I asked
"Erm" he looked down at his clipboard "a Ronaldo Stevens"
I raised an eyebrow and my blood started to boil
"Isaac?" Dad looked at me weird then at Aaliyah
"Um Yh. That's Rhea's ex boyfriend"
Rhea's POV
I could hear everything going on around me and for I really wanted to wake up and let everyone know I was okay but I just couldn't.
I can't believe Ronaldo crashed into my car. This is the first time I'm hearing who actually crashed into me and I can just imagine the way Isaac has reached.
Not good at all. He's just gonna think Ronaldo did it on purpose and for his sake, I'm hoping he didn't.
Isaac's hate towards Ronaldo has been growing in the last week or so because he keeps messaging me and shit. I told him I'm not interested but he's just not getting the message
Isaac's POV
I looked out the room and saw some police officers and then Ronaldo with only a cast on his arm.
I walked out there and he looked at me
"Hi Isaac" he smiled
Am I a dick'ed please?"
"Wtf-"
"Woah, waagwaan for you?" He asked me
I took a deep breath "you crashed into my wife's car and she currently unconscious and yet you're here asking waagwaan for me?!" I was so angry
"She's unconscious?! Oh rah"
"Ronaldo I swear to fucking-" I went charging towards him
"Woahhhh" dad pulled me back and the police blocked my way to Ronaldo.
I kissed my teeth and walked back into the hospital room and sat on a chair next to Rhea and held her hand.
Rhea's POV
Isaac squeezed my hand and I wanted to squeeze back but I couldn't.
I heard the little altercation he just had with Ronaldo. I just want Isaac to know I'm okay. I'm hurting abit. That's a lie. I'm hurting a lot, more than a lot, but I'm okay.
Isaac's POV
The doctor walked back into the room
"What's the chances of her waking up?" I asked straight up
"Um, it's too soon to say"
I sighed "Ik you know so you might aswell just tell me"
"Okay there's a 25% chance of her waking up. She has experienced some very very serious injuries"
I looked up at everyone then back at Rhea
Wtf am I suppose to do?
Aaliyah's POV
I can tell that Isaac is really hurting atm
"Isaac, do you want me to take the kids?"
He looked up at me "is that okay with you?"
She nodded "ofc it is"
I smiled, I went into Rhea's bag and gave Aaliyah her key so she could get clothes for the kids.
I stood up and gave her a hug "thank you"
"Np, love you"
"Love you too"
"Guys say bye to your dad"
The kids came and gave me hugs and kisses and left with Aaliyah and soon after my parents and Rhea's parents left.
I looked at Rhea and and tears just rolled down my face
"Ahhh I love you beautiful"
