So Human

Working overtime

Hard strumming of a chord

Over and over again in my head

Feeling crazy with my senses overloading

And feeling so human, hopeless and afraid

Eyes closed, lead-footed and heavy

absorbing the eerie melody

against my will

Cryptic beating of a drum

Pounding firmly in my head

Filling me with doubt and feelings of loss

losing myself and all that makes my soul

Louder and louder till my mind is spiraling downwards

and out of control, into hell
