"Ale, I really don't wanna wake you up. But we have to leave." Sergio said with a smile, nudging Aleana who was sleeping on his bed.

"No, five more minutes." Aleana said moving around the bed.

"Aleana it's really late. If we wait five more minutes were going to have to stay here." Sergio said and saw Aleana open her eyes.

"Fine." She huffed getting up. "Wait, you didn't wake me up for dinner?"

"No, I decided not to wake you up. You just looked so peaceful and relaxed." Sergio whispered opening the bedroom door, Vania and René had already left. Miriam had decided to sleep over at her parents house.

"Is everyone asleep?" Aleana asked while walking down the stairs and Sergio nodded.

"It's kind of late." Sergio said looking down at his watch. "11:45"

"I think we should stay here, it is really late." Aleana said, they had entered the kitchen.

"Okay. Do you want to go to sleep now?" Sergio asked leaning back on the kitchen counter.

"I don't know, I mean you woke me up so I kind of lost my sleep." Aleana said and Sergio got a devilish smirk on his face. "What?"

Sergio held up one finger and went into the pantry and grabbed one bottle of red wine. Aleana smiled and grabbed two wine glasses. They both went out and sat on the backyard chairs that Paqui and José Maria had. Sergio opened the bottle and took a gulp from it.

"What are you doing? I brought glasses!" Aleana said laughing and Sergio just looked at her, she always lit up when she was laughing and he couldn't keep his eyes off of her. She set out the glasses in front of him and he took them, filling them with wine.

"Just like old times." Sergio said leaning back and taking a deep breath. "Us hiding from my parents, drinking wine."

Aleana smiled and nodded. "Those were the best times."

"I remember the conversations we used to have. When we were in our junior year of high school, I was scared I didn't know if I was going to be accepted in a football club and you didn't know what you wanted to study."

"I remember." Aleana said looking over at Sergio. "I will always have the memories of this one night, the night I was leaving to London to study. I was crying over there." Aleana pointed at the tree house that Sergio, René and José Maria had built when they were younger. It had recently been renovated for Daniella, René's daughter. "I was so scared, and I was crying because I was going to miss you like crazy. And I did, but I got over it. Just like you said I would."

"I told you, you were going to miss me. But after a while those college boys would steal that heart of yours. And they did, you forgot about me for a while." Sergio said taking a sip of his wine and pushing Aleana with his shoulder playfully.

"I didn't forget about you Sese. It was just a really tough semester. I was taking so many classes." Aleana said.

"I know you didn't forget about me. Who could forget about all of this." Sergio said pointing up and down at himself, that chug of wine had definitely been a powerful one. Sergio was already acting a bit too happy.

"You need to calm down your drinking Sergio." Said Aleana but he just shook his head.

"You, have to catch up." He said passing her the bottle, so she decided to also take a chug.

One chug after the next, Aleana and Sergio had finished two whole bottles of wine in about 1 hour.

"Do you remember, one time when we kissed out here. It was before I left for London. I asked you to give me something to assure that you wouldn't forget me, and you kissed me. It was the best kiss I've ever had." Aleana confessed giggling.

"I know, it was the best kiss I've ever had too." Sergio nodded, turning the bottle upside down but nothing came out. "It's empty, do you want another one?"

Aleana was too busy looking at Sergio's light brown eyes to listen to the question. "I need to tell you something."

Sergio nodded, urging her to continue her question. "So, I don't know what's wrong with me. We're friends, and I'm so happy that we are. I've missed you so much. But, the other day when I saw you with the girl I felt. I don't know, angry. I didn't care about the couch, it was about you. I was angry at you, I don't know why. And then Eleanor kept asking me about it. What do you think it means?"

In that moment, Sergio sobered up a bit. He looked at Aleana's innocent face. She hadn't realized what she had said. She was basically telling him that she got angry when he saw her with the other girl. "Ale, maybe we should talk about this when we're a bit more sober."

"No, I wanna talk about this right now. I got so angry at you. And I don't even know why." Aleana said twirling the wine that was left in her cup. "I got so disappointed but I don't know why I'm feeling this."

Sergio sat there speechless. "Ale, I don't know what to say."

After hearing those words, Aleana also sobered up too and finally realized what she had told Sergio. "Yeah, I should. I'm going to sleep."

Aleana stood up and left Sergio in the backyard. Once she entered the house she let out a huge sigh. Any progress she had made with Sergio had just been destroyed and all because of a stupid drunk mistake she had said. Sergio was not into her that way and she had finally understood that.

"What is wrong with me?" Aleana asked herself quietly shaking her head.
