Watching him as she hid in shadows,
A silent tear escaped her eye,
Tears of happiness for victory were they?
Or pain of watching her close ones die?

Surprising how she never realized,
Imagined or saw the birth of rebel,
Her own blood, shy and quiet,
Would led them out of the living hell.

Under the rays she saw his face glow,
The oppressor had never realized, she knew
His own blood would plot against,
Look in the eye and say, "I dare you".

Her almost lifeless body smiled,
The wounds filled her heart with pride,
Thousands of tormented souls were released,
How she wished she could be by his side!

'Fighters always win.' She had taught,
Not everything elders did was right,
Thought of humanity she had instilled,
It was her who made him the shining knight.

Like the silver armor he wore,
Faces with smiles around him shone,
Happiness filled her heart, she saw,
Her son had fought through oppression alone.

Proud that he took the efforts,
Satisfied that the rebel was a success,
Though he finished his own family,
His mother? She couldn't care less!

Overwhelming with several emotions,
Her heart wished to live some more,
But the wounds her son had unknowingly given,
Made her body collapse on the floor.

At the end Sacrifices had to be made,
The darker shade of pink has proven,
Devil and his rule was killed now,
And began the era of just human.
