A knight in the shining armor, he was,
Standing under the blazing sun,
His eyes burning with desire.
Like the shining silver armor he wore,
And the sharpened metal blade he held,
His maneuver mirrored the passion within.
Standing on the parched grounds,
Amidst the bodies oozing blood,
His heart flickered because of qualms.
Lifeless frames of kith and kin,
Shattered figures of mates and foes,
Crumbled his heart with agonizing pain.
Yet, the desire to dispel the oppression,
Lead him through the war,
Adorning his beauty with scars.
Burning flags, fleeing oppressants,
And, the charming smiles on tormented faces,
Marked his victory, crowning glory.
