"Mom!!! I can't" she cried sitting on her knees begging to her mother
"Nandini this is for your own good. Aryaman is way better than Manik. It's been ten years leave your past bacha" her mother tried to explain
"I can't mom he is a part of me. I can't" she wailed like a kid
"This is my final decision" her mother announced and dismiss the room leaving Nandini crying on her knees

"I'm going Dad" Piyaa Malhotra shouted
"Where will you go Piyaa" Manik Malhotra said in a bored tone reading his files
"Dad!! I want to go on picnic" she shouted again
"Nooo and that's final" he said in a dismissing tone and left the room
Piyaa rounded her hands on her waist and took a deep breath just like how her father does when he is angry to calm himself down
"Mein bhi Manik Malhotra ki beti hu" she said with gritted teeth
