I woke from my light slumber to my phone blaring out my ringtone. Knowing the effort it took to open my eyes, I groaned. As I opened my once plastered shut eyes, I yawned. I leaned over to my bedside table in which I then answered my phone.
Realising that I hadn't checked my callers ID; I asked "Hello? Who is this?" I could hear a small chuckle come from the other end followed by the words, "Wynter? It's Bonnie! Your cousin?!" As I heard those words, I let out the breath that I didn't know I was holding.
Following Bonnie's introduction was an energetic voice saying "Don't forget me! Hi, I'm Caroline; Bonnie's bestie!" My mind brought me back to the time. "Hi Bonnie and hey Caroline! Not to sound horrible or anything but why are you calling me at..... 6 o'clock?" As those words slip out, I felt the once happy atmosphere disappear and a serious one enter in return.
"We seem to have a problem. How quick can you get to Mystic Falls?!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
