When I awoke my body ached all over and I could sense I had a couple of broken ribs.
The room I woke up in was different then the places we stayed. It was too clean and white and perfect. And what was that beeping I heard?
"Oh good sweetie your awake. Now your safe here sweetie, but please don't try to move you have several broken ribs and a shattered wrist. Don't worry though they'll mend in a few months"
"Where am I?" I managed to get out, god this woman talked a lot.
"Honey your in the hospital. The police got called because of a noise complaint and they found y-y-your p-p-parents
b-b-beating you" she stutter this out I can tell she was crying. Hey I was the one in the hospital with broken bones.
"Where will I love now?"
"Their finding you a foster home as we speak" her voice was still shaky but she was obviously trying to get a grip of her emotions.
"Oh god" I groaned falling back into the wonderess darkness my mind and pain meds made for me.
