Girl Meets Once Upon A Time

Chapter 25

The kids went onto a bus and hid their phones there. They knew their parents would try to track them.

Then they got onto another bus to New York City.

They finally got off the bus and we're now in New York City.

'Wow, it feels good to be back.' Riley sighed.

'I missed you New York City!' Maya yelled.

All the kids laughed.

The kids were eating pizza.

' Henry as good it is too be back what
does New York have to do with destroying magic?' Lucas asked.

'It's got to do with my dad-our dad.' He said looking at Maya.

'Oh the guy I didn't know existed late yesterday?' Maya asked sarcastically.

'Yeah him.  Magic tore apart his family, too, when grandpa-Rumplestilskin  became the Dark One.' Henry expalined.

'So he wanted to destroy magic Zay asked.

'The truth is, for a really long time. No one else knows this, not even my moms. He made me promise not to tell anyone.' Henry told them.

'It's safe with us , I promise.' Riley smiled.

'See, that's why he was in New York. He was trying to find a way to protect himself in case his dad found him.' Henry expalined.

'Right, and he thought the best way of doing that was by destroying magic.' Farkle put the pieces together.

'Did he ever figure it out?'  Emily asked.

'He died before he could, but I know he got close. He kept everything he found in a journal. It's got to be in his apartment. Wanna see where our Dad lived Maya? Come on.' Henry ran ahead.

Neal's Apartment

'So this is where the guy lived?' Maya asked roaming around.

'Yeah.' Henry was looking for the journal.

''Hey Henry look our song.' Riley showed him a record of 'No Place like You

'Yeah.' Henry smiled.

'Is this him?' Maya found a picture of Neal.

'Yeah that's him.' Henry said sadly.

Maya just stared at the picture.

'Your ok?' Lucas asked Maya.

'I didn't even know him Huckleberry.' Maya told Lucas.

Lucas hugged Maya as a tear slipped her eye.

'Did you find it yet?' Emily asked.

'Got it.' Henry found the journal.

'Midtown Library .' Henry told them after looking through the journal.

They did some more research and then left for the library.
