At The Shores of the Beach °^Love at First Sight^°

Summer Twenty Six

"I am really a big fan of you, ya know?" Lyra continued

The two chatted for a bit more until Abby felt sleepy

She went in her room and found a sleeping Coby. Ofcourse, in his usual attire. Shirtless and sweatpants.

Kinda got used to it. But she wouldn't bpame other girls who would go weak when they see his abs

She just smiled, went beside him, hugged him and fell asleep

The next morning, Coby purposely reset Abby's alarm so he would wake up first.
This is it! Today's the day!

"Should I do this now?" he was nervous at the last minute

"Bro, I've already contacted people who need to be contacted! Don't be a coward!" Lyra scolded Coby

"Whoo! Okay. Kuya, lets go, Ate, You know what to do" Coby ordered

"Yes, sir Coby, sir!" Lura even saluted which made them giggle but not enough for Abby to hear

"Okay. Kuya, let's go"

When Coby, Grey, and the kids were off, Lyra patiently waited for Abby to wake up

An hour later, Abby woke up by the touch of the sweet sunshine luminating her eye making her close them but yet she's awake.
She yawned and stretched her arms to not feel the stiffness of her sleeping position anymore.

Then she noticed something wrong,

"Where's Coby?!" she almost screamed

She never thought that Coby would leave her. With that statement, Lyra was alerted to start Phase 1 of their plan and immediately rushed to Abby's room and began acting.

"Sissy, is everything okay?!" Lyra 'asked' with a worried face

"Ate, where's Coby?" was Abby's natatarantang answer

"Ahh, Coby, Grey, and the kiddos went to the rest house mom and dad asked me to check. Then they're gonna run some errands. So I guess it's just you and me for the whole day" Lyra answered then shrugged her shoulders

"Oh" disappointment visible in Abby's face and voice

"Hmm..." Lyra tapped her chin, "What about we have a 'Girls Day Out'. It's been a while since I got some 'me-time' and why not spend it with my Sissy? Whatcha say?" Lyra asked wit

"Okay Ate" Abby answered blankly

"Good. But first, eat breakfast muna. I cooked fried chicken, the filipino style. I know in your three months staying here you miss these kinds of food. I was like that when 'twas my first months here"

"I indeed miss them very much, Ate"

"Tara. Let's talk over breakfast"

"Sige" Abby answered with a smile and they proceeded to the dining room

"Ate, alam kong 22 na ko. But can we... daan muna tayo sa Claire's. Please? Isa kasi yun sa mga pinupuntahan namin ni Mama when I was there in the Philippines"

"Sure. Why not? Puntahan na rin natin yung isa sa mga places na pinaka paborito ni Coby..."

"Saan?"

"Dairy Queen"

"Ohh..."

After awhile, silence ruled around the house. And that silence was the type of silence that can cause your ears to explode

"Ate... are you going to come with us back home to the Philippines?" Abby suddenly asked

"Sissy, as much as I really want to, you have two more months here. And I have better things to do than third-wheeling around you and Coby. I have a husband and three kids to take care of."

"Oh" Abby sadly answered

"Pero sige. I'm sure I can leave them for awhile"

"Yay!"

They went to the mall and maybe over did it with the shopping. Good thing they were bringing Lyra's car. Phew!

Around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, Lyra proceeded to the Phase 3 of their plan. Lyra decided to take Abby to the designated place. The boardwalk which was right beside the airport where Abby and Coby almost said their goodbye's.

"Sis, why'd you take me here?" Abby asked to Lyra

"Isn't it beautiful?" Lyra diverted

"Yeah"

While Abby's attention was focused on the board walk, Lyra texted Coby and told him that she and Abby were in the board walk and that they should proceed to Phase 4 of the plan.

"Sissy, Imma go to the restroom. Want something back? Imma buy Dippin Dots. Want some?" Lyra 'asked'

"No. I'll be here"

"Okay. Don't get kidnapped"

"I won't"

Lyra then 'went to the restroom'. Nope. Lyra went to the other side of the board walk where everything was ready and where every one was.

"Bro, go get her" Lyra said and Coby proceeded

Coby walked over to Abby

"Hey" Coby said which surprised Abby

"Had a fun day with the kids?"

"Uhm... yeah"

"Great"

"Come. I wanna show you something"

"Yeah? What is that?"

"That's a surprise..."

"Wow. Surprise, ha?"

"Mhm... now come. Put this blindfold on" Coby said and handed Abby a black piece of cloth which appeared to be a blindfold.

After being handed to her, Abby put on the blindfold as instructed by Coby.

"Okay, now what?" Abby asked whilst being temporarily blind due to the blindfold.

"Trust me"

"Eh?"

"Just trust me. Hold my hand tight"

Abby reached for Coby's hand and held it tight as he instructed

"Don't let go..." Coby said

"I will never" Abby said back
