I really want to make Kimberly happy. I don't even know why she left last night. So after school, I bought some flowers. And before nightfall, I placed them on Robert Trip's grave. Then I went to another bench somewhere in the cemetery.

The leaves rustled. The cold wind blew. Soon enough, I heard the girl's voice.

"Hi daddy...I brought you flowers, but it seems like someone already did that deed. They're beautiful. It's probably from that kid Zander. I think you would like him, dad. He has blonde hair, brown eyes, and he's tall. But I don't know.....yesterday he called me Kim. Like you used to."

For a minute my breath caught, and I realized that what I had said yesterday was so wrong. I called her 'Kim' and her dad used to call her that. She cried and left because of me....

"Well, anyways, I don't know. Here's some new news: I went to school today. I know you probably haven't forgot, but today was my first day of senior year. I remember how you used to always make me your one-of-a-kind banana and chocolate chip pancakes. Mom tried this morning, but they ended up burnt....I hope things are well with you. It's 2:06, I have to go. Bye."
