Hey there, so this is my first book I'm publishing on wattpad, so lets see how this goes. So I have a few chapters done that I am just editing. I am actually rewriting this story, so I am just releasing the teaser for Different's first chapter. Let me know your thoughts, constructive criticism is appreciated.

Also, there will be a lot of strong language in this book. If you are easily offended by Foul language, then this will not be the book for you. What can I say...I may be a pirate.

Teaser to chapter One:

From the forest I can hear a howl powerful enough to make even I step back.

"Alpha's coming." One of the men snickered.

I glare into the forest line awaiting the unknown Alpha. "Derrick, where is my Uncle?" I ask my friend as he walks up to stand by me.

"Alpha, had to return to do pack work. He's on his way now." Derrick said straightening up, his eyes never leaving the forest.

I growl as a man emerges from the line along with two wolves pacing side to side next to him.

I take another step forward shielding my pack behind me. "And who the fuck do you think you are attacking my pack?" I question as my rage builds. The man isn't close enough for me to attack, I can barely make out his features. However I know he can hear me, I hear him laugh in response as he makes his way towards me.

My wolf stirs inside, as a breeze comes up behind me and heads towards the forest. The leaves swaying and some falling being carried along with the wind. The man stops in his track, now half way to me. I change my stance prepared to defend, so my pack can get to safety.

His eyes snap up to meet mine, as his face distorts from cocky to confused. His  eyes swirl with color mixing with the pitch black iris. My wolf shouts "Mate" into my head, I take a step back and look at Derrick with wide eyes.

"Mate" The alpha says.

I turn and growl, enraged at fate's choice "Like hell."
