"Mikey?"
"Yeah Cal?" I could hear the pain in his voice and I knew what had happened.
Saying that your heart hurts, that you'll never get over him getting over you.
"My heart hurts Mikey, why does he do that?" Calum asked shakily.
Because he doesn't love you.
"He's an idiot" I reply bluntly.
"But he says he loves me!" Calum defends.
"Cal he's got another boyfriend!" I say.
And you end up crying, and I end up lying. Cause I'm just a sucker for anything that you do.
"But he said he loves me!" Calum repeated pleadingly.
"Yeah he did..." I answer.
I hear his sniffles through the phone and know he's crying, crying over someone who breaks his heart!
And when the phone call finally ends you say, "Thanks for being a friend" and we're going in circles again and again.
"Thanks for being my friend Mikey, I don't know what I would do without you." Calum said after talking for an hour.

"Yeah... No problem... Anything for you" I reply warily.
"See yah tomorrow! Bye" Calum says before hanging up.
"I love you." I say after he hangs up.

"He did it again..." Calum sobs through the phone.

"Mikey why does he do this!!" Calum asks.
But I end up telling you want you wanna hear But your not ready and it's so frustrating. He treats you so bad and I'm so good to you it's not fair.
"I don't know Cal... But he probably doesn't mean to hurt you" I lie.
"Yeah your right!" He says happily. But it's fake I can tell by the way his voice squeaks when he's lying.
And when the phone call finally ends you say "I'll call you tomorrow at 10" and I'm stuck in the friend zone again and again.
"I'll call you tomorrow at 10?" Calum asks.
"Yep, 10" I say and nod even though he can't see.
"Thanks Mikey! Bye" he says
"I love you" I say after he hangs up.
