The Truth

Rosa POV

"Lulu wake yo ass up we need to be on time for your counseling" I yelled through the door. Before I could say anything else the door swung open. There stood Lulu looking tired and mugging the shit out of me.

Lulu: I'm tired can you hurry up so we can get this over with

Rosa: welp if you wasn't up fucking Trey then you wouldn't be sleepy

Lulu: correction we weren't fucking we were making love she said with a big smile plastered on her face

Rosa: umm........ alrighty then tmi and come on lets get going

Lulu's councilor stayed quite a distance from us so it was gonna take a hour to get there that's if there wasn't traffic. The ride was quiet so I decided to break the ice by asking a question.

Rosa: So...... Lulu what type of stuff do you guys talk about

Lulu: Nothing really just saying how I feel about how things are I don't know why

Rosa: Oh nothing I was just asking a question

Lulu: Okay I guess

Rosa: Hey um do you want to go out to get breakfast instead

Lulu: I would but Trey wouldnt like that

Rosa: Who said he will know that we went out for breakfast instead and besides you're a grown woman he's not the boss of you

Lulu: All right then where we going to eat

Rosa: Your favorite place Ihop

Lulu: See this is why I love you thank you Rosa

Rosa: No problem

After that the ride went back to silence so I decided to turn on the radio. When we pulled up to Ihop this fine ass nigga and his friend was looking at us. We went inside and waited to be seated once we was seated there was an awkward silence. Lulu was about to say something until the same niggas from earlier sat beside our table.

Unknown: Hey um...I couldn't help but to notice how fine you two ladies are

Unknown2: Yeah what's y'all name

Rosa: my name is Rosa and this is Lulu but she has a boyfriend so you can forget about getting her number

Unknown: well this is Tyrese and my name is Lucas nice to meet Rosa and Lulu

Tyrese: so Miss Rosa are you single then

Rosa: well not exactly its complicated

Lucas: well if y'all ever looking to have fun y'all should hit us up he said while handing me his number

Tyrese: see you later sweet cakes

After the two guys left Lulu resumed to what she was about to say but once again she was cut off by the waitress. Once the waitress took our orders and left I got a text from Trey

Text Message from Trey: how come you two aren't at her counseling session

Me: I decided to take her out to breakfast instead chill

Trey: ugh alright I guess it wouldnt hurt to miss one session

Me: how did you know we didn't go

Trey: cuz the councilor called and asked if we was still coming today

Me: oh

Trey: yea and tell Lulu I love her

Me: 😷 umm... I guess but eww

Trey: ight loser see yall later

Texting over

Lulu: are you done texting or......

Rosa: oh my bad but Trey said he loves

Lulu: awww tell my baby I love him more

Rosa: ewww no

Lulu: *chuckling* I'm just playing but it looks like our food is done she said as the waitress brought our food over
Lulu: so as I been trying to say since we sat down is that I noticed things have been awkward between us since I left the hospital.

Rosa: oh yea I noticed that too

Lulu: so what's up with that

Rosa: well tbh I really don't know but that's why I took us here instead

Lulu: well lets change that

Rosa: sounds like a plan

After that breakfast was pretty fun and no longer awkward. Once we made it home we went our separate ways.

Lulu POV

Trey: hey baby how was breakfast

Lulu: it was cool but I'm tired

Trey: well you should take a nap since I'm leaving out

Lulu: ight love you

Trey: love you too see you when I see you

Later that afternoon I woke up in a pull of sweat with tears streaming down my face. I now know the truth to what happened to me I said to myself with anger hidden in my voice.

Trey POV

When I came home I expecting to see Lulu still sleep not packing her bags with tears streaming her face.

Trey: what the hell is going on

Lulu: I'm leaving

Trey: why is it something I did

Lulu: how could you guys not tell me

Trey: did I miss something here I said confused

Lulu: i now know what happened to me I'm so mad how could you not tell me

Trey: how did you find out

Lulu: I had a dream about the truth

Trey: so you dont know if its the truth you been having crazy dreams lately so calm down

Lulu: no Trey I know for a fact this is the truth

Trey: how do you know

Lulu: because I just do

Trey: see you cant give me a valid answer so stop packing

Lulu: NO!!! Look I know this is the truth and I have to get away from that stupid bitch before I hurt her

Trey: shit well I'm going with you

Lulu: ok that's fine with me but I'm still angry with you

Trey: I know I should've just told you from the start and that's my bad you know I love you, you know I care I said as I brushed the tear from her face

Lulu: and the others failed to tell me

Trey: but you cant hold that against them

Lulu: but I can hold it against that bitch as a matter of fact she bout to pay

Trey: wait Lulu dont....

Before I could finish what I was saying she went racing down the stairs and punched her right in the jaw.
