Riley was screaming with excitement.

To be honest, I was kind of jealous that Lucas asked her out.

"Lucas Friar asked me out!"

"That's okay, I guess...."

"Okay? It's amazing! We just got here a week ago and someone already asked me out!" Riley squealed.

People started to stare at Riley since she was screaming so loud.

"Riles, calm down. People are looking."

Riley shut her mouth and just smiled.

Lucas walked up to us.

"Hey, Riley." Lucas said.

He started small talk with her. 

Farkle was beside Lucas with a smile spread on his face.

"Hey Maya, do you want to be partners for the project?" Farkle asked me.

"Sorry, but I'm okay."

Farkle walked away with a nerdy smile that smeared across his face.

Lucas walked away and Riley was blushing like crazy.

"Oh my gosh, we're going to Baskin Robins! My favorite ice cream shop!" Riley squealed once again.

"So enough about me and Lucas, do you have a crush on someone?"

The bell rang.

Saved by the bell, didn't really know that it was true until now.

Me and Riley walked into English where Mrs. Krunin was sitting at the chair looking bored as usual.

"Today, we will be pairing you into groups of 3. Maya, Riley, and....our new student Lucas will be pairing up as a group." The teacher said.

Great, I have to deal with Lucas again and squealing Riley.

Being paired up with Riley would be so much fun, but with Maya.

It won't be at all.

Once the teacher had explained the boring project, we all left the classroom. Farkle ran up to me and started talking to me.

"Are you going to freak out being around two good looking girls?"

"I'm with Riley, so I really don't like Maya."

"That's what you say." Farkle said.

He walked to his locker.

Farkle, he's always getting into the middle of things and sometimes he screws the situation up even more than it already is.

Riley ran over to me with Maya hanging on her side.

"Hey Lucas!" She said loudly.

I smiled at her.
