I got dressed in my warm winter clothes and was soo excited to see my best friend Mia. I went to preschool with her and we've been friends ever since. I say by to my mum and start walking to school. It is just up the road from my house so it's not that much of a walk.
-At school
"EMMA" Mia yelled running towards me with the happiest look on her face!
"MIA" I yelled back at her
"Why so happy"
"Ah I don't know just that I won two tickets to go on a plane to...... VEGAS!!
"Your so lucky where me on the other hand has an obnoxious mum screaming and yelling at me because I slept in 1 minute over my alarm" I said back less happy then I was when I arrived
"Yikes" she screeched
"I know right, so who are u going to take to Vegas" I said
"Are you stupid of course I'm going to take my best friend silly" she answered me
"Are you sure your not dreaming didn't you just hear me go on about how strict my mother is, there is no way she will let me go to the gambling city" I said with less hope
"Yeah I know your mum she will never let you go in a million years"
"Exactly, so where are you going with this" I said confused
"DoI have to connect all the dots for you, just say to your mum your going camping with another one of your friends and there will be no service how bout say your going with... Emily" she said with a bit more hope
"I can't lie to my mum about something that big" I complained
After Mia begging me for the next 5 periods and don't forget lunch and recess I ended up just saying...
"I'll think about it"
