I opened my eyes and while rubbing them, opened them again. I still wasn't used to waking up in this house. Ashton's parents had let me sleep in the guest room, which had a huge window. I wasn't used to this much light in the morning.

I got ready in a few minutes and headed downstairs.

"Hey Alice, how did you sleep?" Ms. Kent questioned.

"I slept well, what's for breakfast?" I asked back.

"Blueberry pancakes, your favorite."

I grinned and sat down. Lydia walked in, grabbed a plate and walked back out. She wasn't being as sour to me as before, but she hadn't gotten a lot nicer.

As I was licking the last drops of syrup off my fork, Ashton walked in, hair tousled.

"I overslept."

Ms. Kent laughed. "Not a surprise."

Ashton just rolled his eyes and sat down at the table. Next thing you know he was looking at me.

"Blueberry pancakes! Your favorite!" he said.

"I know." I said, and grinned again.

...

Ms. Kent had left for work and Lydia was at her friend's house, so it was just me and Ash at home.

"So, Alice."

"Yeah?" I asked.

"The fall dance is coming up."

"Yup." I was busy changing the channels on his TV.

"So... I was wondering-"

"You want to ask a girl to the dance?!" I dropped the remote and turned to him. Ashton never asked girls to dances, so it was a big step for him.

"Well, yes..."

"Who is it?!" I could barely handle my excitement.

"Uh-" I cut him off.

"Okay, you don't need to tell me immediately, but we absolutely have to get you a suit. To the mall we go."

"Oh, but-"

"No buts make the cut. We are getting you a suit."

And with that, I dragged him out the door.

A/N: Who's he gonna ask?! 😍😂 Hope you liked! 💗
