When I came back down the stairs with my hair in a messy bun, Elliot was staring at me from the couch.
"I saw you kiss Adam."
"WHAT?!" I squeaked.
"Yeah... I could see it all from the window of my bedroom." he said while smirking.
"ELLIOT!" I screamed.
"Don't worry, I'll keep my mouth shut." Elliot said while smirking, and walked into the kitchen. You can never trust that child.
He came back with a bag of chips. Racing up to him, I grabbed it out of his hands.
"ALICE!"
"Ha-ha," I yelled back. "If you want your chips then you have to swear to keep your mouth shut."
"UGH, fineee." Elliot said. "I promise I won't tell anyone about your kiss." He smiled evilly.
"ELLIOT!"
"Fine, fine."
...
I pulled out my phone and went to Facebook. Acacia Dayns has sent you a friend request. Okay, I thought and accepted it. It was normal that I was getting friend requests, everyone wanted to be my 'friend' on Facebook.
I went onto her profile and started scrolling through her profile. She moved from California, and she had 2 brothers, both in college at UCLA. She was a science geek and had won many singing contests.
I logged out of Facebook and went to my room to go do my homework and catch up on Shadowhunters. I jogged up the stairs, my mind on Adam the whole time.
...
At dinner, my mom and dad asked about how my day went, and I told them about classes and stuff.
I could tell that Elliot was trying to keep his mouth shut, and I kept giving him glares in the middle of dinner so that it would stay shut. At one point he burst out laughing.
"You two okay?" my mom asked, giving us a look.
We both nodded, looking at each other and trying to not laugh.
A/N: Like I said, this was going to be a fill in chapter. I feel like a lot of stories forget to talk about the family of the main character, so I just wanted to get that out of the way. Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
Lots of love,
