Napatakip ako sa bibig ko ng makita ang sinend na email sakin ni Aria.

Madami na kaming lugi at 4 na ang nagsarang branch. Paanong nagawang pabayaan ni Aly ang kumpanya ng ganito? Papaano kaming nalugi?

"God Aly. What are you doing"

Napasapo nalang ako sa noo ko. Mabutit nasa kanila mommy ngayon si Britt at hindi ako nakikitang ganito.

"Ate.."

"Why are you crying again?"

Niyakap niya ako. I just cant help my tears. Gulong gulo na ako. Bat ganito ang nangyayari sa kumpanya kung ang sabi ni Aly ay inaayos niya? Hindi ko siya maintindihan.

"What happened?"

I shook my head "Nothing Jess. We just have a problem with the company"

"Ha? I thought Ate Ly is taking care of it?"

"Me too. But it turns out like not"

"Do you want me to help? I am more than willing"

I shook my head "No its fine. Besides, you have a lot of cases to fix. And about ours, I suggest to stop it. Ill take the case back"

Kumunot ang noo niya sa sinabi ko. This was never easy. Pero kung ito ang dahilan kaya nagkakaganito kami ni Ly ay hindi ko na lang itutuloy "What? Why?"

"Just do it. And can you help me with Mich? Book her a flight to here. I need her back. I am not fine while my daughter's away"

Tumango siya kahit alam kong naguguluhan siya kung bakit ko ginawa yun. Ayoko sabihin. Baka magalit lang siya kay Aly.

"When do you want the flight?"

"As soon as possible Jess"

I laid down on our bed. Pagkakita ko sa empty spot beside me, tumulo nanaman ang luha ko. Ilang araw na kaming hindi magkatabing matulog. Miss na miss ko na ang asawa ko. Hindi ko alam kung saan siya pumupunta. Parang winawasak ang puso ko. Pakiramdam ko unti unting nawawasak na ang pamilya ko.

"Lord, help me please"

"Good Morning Ma'am"

Nginitian ko lang si Aria. Pumasok na ako kaagad sa office. Ramdam ko naman na nakasunod lang siya sakin. Pagkaupo ko binigay niya na sakin ang isang folder.

"Anjan na po lahat ng details Ma'am. May copy rin po ang board members"

I nodded "Good. What time is the meeting?"

"10 po"

"Okay. Thank you. Ill call you if youre needed"

Lumabas na siya sa opisina at sinimulan ko ng aralin ang problema ng kumpanya. We lost customers in our 3 branches. Million na rin ang nawala sa kumpanya dahil sa labas lang ng labas ang pera. Hindi ito napapaikot.

Tiningnan ko ang wall clock at 9:40 na. Tumayo na ako at inayos ang sarili ko. Dumeretso na kaagad ako sa conference room. Nandoon na ang board. Masiyado ata silang maaga.

"Good morning"

Ngumiti at tumango lang sila.

"Where is Alyssa Dennise?"

Napatingin ako sa isang board member "Oh. She is fixing some other things"

"She cant let you handle this. She created this problem. She should fix this"

"Dont worry. I can handle it. So may we start?"

Tumango na siiya. Huminga ako ng malalim then I started the meeting. I explained my plans and luckily they agreed. Umabot ng isang oras ang meeting at pagkatapos nun ay pinatawag ko si Aria sa office.

"Yes Maam?"

"I want you to get a copy of our bank transaction this month. I need it tomorrow. And please call Von. I need him here today"

"Is that all Maam"

"Yes"

Umalis siya at naiwan ako. I massaged my head dahil sumasakit ito. Then I realized hindi ko man lang nakausap si Britt ngayong araw. I get my cellphone at tinawagan si mommy.

[Hello Den?]

"Hi mom. Can I talk to Britt?"

[Oh sure. Wait... Mom!]

Napangiti ako ng marinig ang sigla ng boses ng anak ko "Hey sweetie have you eaten?"

[Yes mom. I am going to school now. When are you going to fetcb me mommy?]

I sighed "Baby just stay with momsie for a while okay? Mommy is still solving the problem in the company"

[How about pops? I havent talked to her for a while. I miss her]

"Ahm your pops is fixing something else. Youll see her dont worry."

Nakita ko ang pagpasok ni Von sa office ko. He greeted me pero tumango lang ako. "Baby mommy's gotta work. Take care and study well okay? I love you"

[Yes mom. I love you too]

Ibinaba ko na ang tawag at pinaupo si Von. Tumingin ako sa ceiling at sinandig ang likod ko sa swivel chair. Ayokong gawin to pero gusto malaman ang lahat kay Aly. "I want you to follow Alyssa wherever she go. If you find something suspicious tell me."

"Are you sure Madame"

"More than you expect. I want all the details. Email or call me."

"Okay Madame."

"I want you to start now. I want a news tomorrow"

"Okay. Ill leave"

Tumango ako sa kaniya. Ayokong gawin ito pero hindi ko mapigila na magduda kay Alyssa. Natatakot ako sa ginagawa ko dahil baka may malaman ako na ayaw ko. Pero kahit ganon, may tiwala pa rin ako kay Aly. Alam kong hindi siya gagawa ng ikasisira naming dalawa, ng pamilya namin.

"Den!"

Napatayo ako ng makita si Fille. She hugged me so tight. "Fille youre here"

"Yeah. I heard ikaw na dito sa I paid you a visit"

"Have a sit" umupo kaming dalawa "So what brought you here?"

"Napadaan kasi ako sa malapit na restaurant jan kaya sabi ko daan muna ako. Ikaw na pala dito? Where is Ly?"

Napawi ang ngiti ko ng mabanggit niya si Ly. Saan nga ba siya? Asan nga ba ang asawa ko? "I dont know"

"What?"

Yumuko ako "Hindi ko alam Fille. She is not in her self after she heard the news that I will file acase against those people who tried to kill us. Until now, she is so cold."

"I dont get it"

"Me too. I dont get her. Ang sabi niya she is busy with this company but I found out she is not. No ones managing this for how many days. Her acts were suspicious so I hired an investigator to follow her"

She hugged me because my tears burst out. "Maybe she is just problematic"

"I do hope so Fille. I really hope so thats it"

Sana nga ganun lang. But I think there is so much more. And I need to find it out. I want to understand her. And the best way to be is to watch her moves.
