Chapter 23

I put my phone back into my pocket and take a deep breath. I can't belive all this is happening. I mean I've just got together with Louis and now Brawley is back. I know I should have told him last night that I've moved on and that I'm with Louis now but I just couldn't. I don't know how I'm going to get through today. Louis wanted to meet up before school so that we could go grab breakfast.

As I walk towards the little café where Louis said to meet I spot him sat by himself just looking at the door waiting for me to walk in any second. I go to open the door and am met with a huge smile on Louis' face as he sees me opening the door of the café. I take a seat at the table Louis is on and he kisses my cheek "morning handsome" Louis says smiling at me

"Morning Lou" I laugh a little kissing him back "we never usually meet up for breakfast, what's changed?" I ask him

"Nothing. Just wanted to spend some more time with you. if that's alright grumpy, can't I do anything nice for us?" Louis asks

"I was just... never mind" I mutter to myself

"I've already ordered for us" Louis says enthusiastically

"What you ordered then?" I ask him and he shakes his head

"Was supposed to be a surprise but it's pancakes" Louis smiles and lets out a giggle as if he were a little child

"Really?" I smile widely at him "my favourite" I put my hand on top of his and caress his thumb with my own

"Must have been a lucky guess" Louis says biting his lip "You never messaged me to tell me you were done studying with Liam last night" he pulls his hand away from mine and hides it under the table

"It got late and I stayed over at his, was about 12 once we went over everything. Didn't want to wake you" I tell him hoping that he doesn't pick up on my lying

"I wouldn't have minded Haz, I was waiting for you to message me but I never got one. So I didn't know what had happened as we'd arranged that we'd meet up..." he pauses "I would of liked to have known that's all" he sighs

"I'm sorry Lou" I tell him looking into his eyes causing nothing but awkward silence between us

"Pancakes with syrup" the waiter says holding to plates Louis gestures that the plate is for me "sausage and bacon bap with hash brown" the waiter says smiling placing the plate in front of Louis

"Thank you" Louis says to the waiter. A few minutes pass as we eat in silence until Louis finally speaks up "What's yours like Haz?"

I look up to him smiling at me "It's really nice, want to try?" I ask him cutting a piece of pancake and putting it on my fork then dipping it into the runny syrup which was pooled on my plate. Louis opens his mouth ready for him to take what was on my fork into his mouth. As I put the fork into his mouth he closes his lips around the fork so I slide the fork out of his mouth. He smiles at me chewing what is in his mouth

"That's is lovely" he nods "want a bite of mine?" He asks and I smile he holds the bap in front of me. I lean forward and take a bite out of his bap. I smile at him "nice isn't it" he says

"Very" I confirm with him. Once we've both finished our breakfasts and drinks Louis pays then we start walking towards school. I really can't be bothered to go though.

*Louis' p.o.v *

As we walk towards school Harry seems to be getting tence, his body has seemed to be getting stiffer. "Haz? You okay?" I ask him worrying about him
