CJ showed me some pics, but most of them were either blurry, or you could only see half of her face. She'd hide behind CJ, or with her hand, so basically, pictures of her was like looking for a ghost. I guess she was camera shy

So today would be the first time that her and I officially meet, along with her bridal party and sister of course

We'd just come back from fitting our tuxedos, along with a bunch of niggas who would be in the wedding party. We all knew each other, either from growing up on the same block, or from being in the same industry together

Oh shit, where are my manners, my name is Justice Thomas, I'm Thirty-one years old, living in LA. I moved here seven years back to up my career as a producer. It was hard at first, but I'd already made some good connections when I was in the NY, so it didn't take long for my shit to get hot

I'm glad I moved here, gave me a chance to do more for my career then I ever would've if I had stayed back home. Expand your craft that's what I believed in, so I did, and here I am. With the homie I grew up with, getting ready for his wedding. Its weird how time passes

You might be asking yourself how I know CJ? Well we went to the same primary school, got into a lot of trouble lot together, hell we were the poster kids for trouble back then. Which is why after we went to juvy for armed robbery, and assault, his folks shipped him off to a military school

We were eleven though, thought that we could rule the world and no one could touch us, but reality hit when I stood in the middle of the street watching as the car my boy was in drove off to God knows where. I was crushed, I would've gotten into a lot more trouble, but my mums got me into music classes, had me playing piano, and my favourite instrument of all time, the classic guitar, but I can play the bass too

Just like MIMS said, music saved my life, and it truly did. I quit running the streets and concentrated solely on getting my beats heard. Let's just say the rest is history, I mean I'm here, am I not?

Back to me and CJ, we met up when I moved here, I accidentally bumped into him at some music thing. We hung out, reminisced about the old days, got to talking about how shit had changed for us, and how different it was for the niggas back home. The rest, as they say, is history

"So where we meeting the soon-to-be Mrs Jones, and her clique?" I smirked at Cory, then proceeded to get in the car that was parked outside the tailors

He looked up from his phone, "Some fancy restaurant near Boulevard, I forgot the name of the fucking place. She called to reserve a table for all of us" he said, looking back at his phone

I rubbed the back of my neck, "Man I'm just glad I get to finally meet your wifey" I smiled once he drove off

I pulled my iPhone 6S out my pocket. Had some lyrics on my mind I wanted write down

About thirty minutes later we'd arrived at our destination. From the outside you could tell that it was a nice place, like them fancy places that sold those small portioned foods. I hate those places, I hope this wasn't one of them. I mean what's wrong with getting a Big Mac at MacD's and being satisfied

Sometimes there was no need to be fancy, kinda like right now

Once we got inside the restaurant, CJ looked around to see if he would spot the people we we're meant to meet here. A young fly mammie came over to us, asking if we needed a table. CJ looked at her like she wasn't as fly as we both knew she was, then told her that we had a reservation under the name Jones. She smiled flirtatiously at us, told us to follow her, as she sashayed to the table where his soon-to-be wife would be sitting
