It's been three months since Yuuki and Kaname left Cross Academy. Many things have changed since they left. I've been President of the Night Class ever since they departed and many new Night Class students have come to Cross. Many call me Lady not President though I prefer just being called Sakura. Being called "Lady" or "President" doesn't really fit my style but I've learned to deal with it.

Zero has rarely changed. He is still in the Day Class as a Guardian and is as silent as a wolf stalking it's pray. However I have really good news, Zero is no longer getting closer to Level E. Somehow when he drained the rest of the life out of Ichiru he absorbed Shizuka's blood. Now he is no longer in pain, which is good.

It is night time and classes will begin soon for the Night Class. I leave my dorm, which used to belong to Kaname, and head downstairs to see all the Aristocrats waiting.

"Hello Sakura, are you ready to head out?" Mikou asks with his usual bright smile. It reminds me of Yuuki at times.

"Yes I am. Let's head out everyone or we'll be late." I say.

They all stand and as usual I'm the one leading with Mikou by my side. You can say he's like what Sieren was for Kaname, except that he doesn't disappear whenever he felt like it.

"Lady Sakura," Naomi says. "You seem to be very cheery today."

"Oh, aren't I always?" I flash a smile.

"Oh but of course! Sorry for asking..."

"No its fine Naomi. I'm just a bit more happier right now because I'm going to be seeing my siblings soon." I put my hand on her head to tell her it was fine and smile down at her.

"How long will you be gone for?" Mikou asks.

"Not long, probably just a few days. You will be number one when I'm gone, don't forget." I wink.

We are now standing in front of the large stone gates which lead to the classrooms. I still dislike classes but I must set an example, and as usual they were boring. We were learning about vampire history when it was then break.

I look outside the large arched window to see none other than Zero standing there in the moonlight. The night suited him, silver hair with a silver moon.

"Lady Sakura who is that?" Mika asks sheepishly.

"Oh the man outside? He is well..." I hesitate. "A Guardian at Cross Academy. He's been here since he was little."

"Why is he in the Day Class? I sense he's a vampire." Mikou asks.

"Well you see," I glance at Zero once more. "He doesn't like vampires a lot." I see Zero look at me and so I look away.

I've just recently found out what happened that day Yuuki and Kaname left Cross Academy. Zero will hunt down Yuuki and attempt kill her but she'll keep running away. However Zero doesn't just want to kill Yuuki. He wants to kill all Pureblood vampires, including myself. If the Night Class found out they'd be furious.

"Lady Sakura is something wrong?" Naomi asks looking worried.

"I'm fine Naomi. Thank you for asking." I smile and I look at the clock. It is 5:00 AM, which is when break is over. Seconds later our teacher walks back in for another three boring hours of lessons.

It is now 8:00 AM and classes are over so we must go back to our dorms. But guess what comes next, getting through the gates. You might think after that incident with Rido that Cross Academy wouldn't be crazy all the time but you guessed wrong. Plus with more girls in the Night Class this year they're more boys than girls flooding the gates.

I hear multiple boys scream my name and my left eye continues to twitch. How could Kaname keep at this for so long?!!

"Bang." I hear Mine say. I see multiple boys faint in joy.

I giggle. "Mine you remind me so much of your brother."

"Heh." She looks at me and smiles.

I look at Zero and flash a smile. He kept his usual blank expression.

Once I got back to my dorm I lay down on my love seat and look up at the ceiling. I start to think about Yuuki and Kaname. I haven't heard from them in such a long time, yet in a few days I'm going to go see them. I wonder how Yuuki likes the manor. After all she was locked up in the basement her whole life.

I slowly feel myself drift off to sleep.

All I see is darkness and not a single living thing in sight. All I feel is the cool breeze hit my bare shoulders. I'm in a white lace dress which just about reaches the floor. My hair is down and flowing.

In a second the sound changes to the sound of burning wood. All of the sudden I'm not greeted by cool air but hot heat. All around me is a building burning to ash. Wait this looks like...

"Sakura help!!" I hear someone say. I look around frantically when I then see who it is.

"Yuuki!" I rush past the flames. I don't care how painful it is when my legs get cut by the scorching metal and wood.

I am then forced to see the horrible sight of Yuuki being crushed by beams. I rush over to pull the beams off of her. But by then she was gone. My heart nearly breaks, I begin to cry.

I hear a chuckle which sounds like one of a young girl.

"Heheh." I hear. "Looks like you were too late."

I sob my heart out as I look behold the lifeless body of my sister while hearing the little girls laugh.

My eyes shot open with my heart beating a thousand times a minute. After a minute to calm down I realize I'm in a bed covered up, I'm still in my uniform. Mikou must've came in to talk but noticed I was resting. However that didn't matter to me at all right now.

What was that dream? Why would I have a dream of losing my dear sister? I feel my cheeks and see I was indeed crying not just in the dream but in real life as well. Was that dream some sort of message? That I need to be ready for something?

But what?

Hello lovelies!
Here it is, the first real chapter of The Kuran Queen! I hope you enjoyed it. Like I said I won't be following much of the storyline of Vampire Knight in this book. I followed the anime in the last but this one I'm making my own story with more O.C's.

I have good news! I have a co-author! She is JacquieLisete and she has been a fan of this series for a long time and she is really nice!

Bye for now!
