Chapter 43. Ring Shopping

(HELLO!!! I have legit died today. Twice to be exact. I have died over Kpop twice in one day. I need help...)

Rob's POV

I watched Preston munch down on the breakfast I made him. I chuckled, just then my phone rang saying I had got a text message. I turned it on sure enough it was Mitch. 'Hey buddy! You should propose...' it read. Maybe I should...I just need a ring... I thought. Preston looked up "Who was that?" He asked through a mouth of eggs. "Mitch." I said. "What'd he say?" He asked. "He asked if we're having fun begin back home again." I answered. "Ah." I said then continued eating. "Listen. I've got to errands to run with Pete. I'm not cheating on you. It's just he asked me to help him buy some presents for his girlfriend. So you'll have the house to yourself." I said to Preston. He nodded, "Cool, I needed to record anyway." He said. I smiled.

"Hey Pete. Can you come ring shopping with me?" I whispered. "Oh my, sure!" He said. I smiled, "I'll pick you up at your place." I said. "Okay." He said. "Bye." I said. "Peace." He said then hung up.

I picked up Pete and with that we were on our way. "So." Pete said. I smiled "I'm excited." I said. Pete laughed.

~At the Jewlers~

I looked at a ring, it was a man's ring but it spoke to me. It would look perfect on Preston's hand. "Are you gentlemen finding everything okay?" The man asked. "Yeah. I think I found a ring." I said. He smiled, "So tell me. When did you and your boyfriend meet?" He asked while taking the ring out. "Uhm. I think a year ago." I answered. He smiled, "I think he'll love it." The man said. "I do too." I smiled and he handed me the ring in a velvet box. "That will be 300 dollars." He said. Jesus...just for one ring? I handed the man a check and he smiled. Me and Pete then left, and decided to go shop some more.
