Nikki's P.O.V
Its a bleak night at london people are less crowded in the streets, quite and serene sound of trees swaying back and forth is the only thing that can be heard then I felt my phone buzzed.I got a text from an unkown number.
"Hey,Sorry to interupt but can I call you?
"Who is this?" I replied
"Sorry, I'm the son of Mr.malik the manager of your job will be,Mr.brook called and say's that you need work so I ask your number and I texted you"
"Oh ok"
Seconds later my phone rang and I quickly answered it
"Hello?"
"Uhm.Hey are you Nicole Evans?" he asked
"Yes I am"
"Im Zayn,can you meet me at starbucks tomorrow at 9:30 in the morning at your school's street at the right of the building its only few blocks away and kindly please bring your pesonal data or files for your signing up" he instructed
"Oh okay then, thanks by the way"
"Sure" and he ended up the call
I changed into my Pj's and went downstairs
"mom?"
"Im in the kitchen honey" she called
I went to the kitchen and I saw my mom baking some cupcakes
"Hey mom can I help you?" I asked pointing towards the cupcakes that just came out in the oven because I can see those are smoking hot
"sure hun, you can put frosting on those cupcakes just let them cool down a little, but while waiting you can mix those ingredients for the frosting" she smile pointing towards the cupboard where are the ingredients are placed
I shrugged my shoulders "Okay then"
*few minutes later
"Oh my god Nicole! what happened to your face?" my mum nervously asked while holding her chest
"uh mom! its just I slipped- and the frosting- and. ." I heavily sighed "I failed doing the frosting mom"
"aww, its okay hun, let me help you" she wiped the cocoa powder on my forehead and help me do the frosting
*after doing the frosting
"see its easy" my mum say handing me a bag of frosting
"yeah! its very easy thanks mom" I say sarcastically
"you just need more practice" mom patted my shoulder
I shrugged my shoulders while licking the remaining frosting on my thumb
''so mom for whom is this cupcakes for?'' I asked while squeezing some chocolate frosting on the top of the cupcake
''Oh. .Its for Josh friends their having sleepovers here and their having a Toy Story marathon'' she chuckled
''okay'' I then Continue to frost the remaining cupcakes
