George smiled to himself and continued watching TV. I got ready quickly so I wouldn't keep George waiting too long. When I was done getting ready I walked back to the couch and sat down. "Nice shirt," he smiled, because it was one of his shirts. "Thanks," I smiled back. He focused on the TV for a little bit and we were both quiet. I scooted closer to him as I held up a small white box. "Happy anniversary, George." "What is it?" He said as he took it from my hand. "Just open it." He lifted the top of the small box and smiled.
