A Rebuke From My Heart
I walk towards home with a heavy heart
'Cause nothing has gone the way I thought
I don't know what I am to do now
But I wanna make it right somehow.
I hadn't meant what I'd said
For a single mistake I had paid
My mistake was that I spoke from my brain
The logical , the sensible part.
But of course it said what I didn't want
And so I realized it was a big fault,
To speak from your brain and not your heart
But how do I do so when it's oh-so-hard?
I thought about it for a thousand times,
What I should've said and should've not
And yet all I got was a grave REBUKE
From my very own HEART.
