When you are laying in bed
Late at night
And the wind whispers through the trees
And that empty feeling
Deep in your heart
Reminds you of the way things used to be
Close your eyes

When yo are sitting by yourself
Looking out the window
And the rain is falling so freely
And the chill surrounds you
Where my arms
Would hold you so tenderly

That you are watching
Stirs up a memory
