That statement of mine made my parents grin while I smirked...

"Alright, pack up. We'll leave now." Poppy announced

"Okay, bye" with a smile on my face...

I video called Kathereen, Rowan, Cara, Holly and Hailey as soon as mumsie and popsie left my apartment.

"Hey, what's up?" Kathereen asked

"Yah. Why'd you call?" Holly asked in annoyance, that time she had facial mask on. She is definitely the sassiest. I thought to myself but erased the thought the moment a second elapsed

Hailey then looked at her in disbelief.

"Shut up, Holly..." Hailey said

"Yah. I just called, doesn't mean you had to answer it..." I said which made everyone shut up. Oh, God. The look on Holly's face was priceless! Hahaha! She was so embarassed!

"Whatever." was Holly's retort after minutes of awkward silence and went back to doing her nails...

"Aissh... anyways, Hailey, why are you and Holly in one screen?" I asked, changing the topic

"Oh... I broke it. So I just asked Mum to get me the new Mac book pro." Hailey reasoned tss I know the reason

"Tss... For all I know, you just want a new laptop, that's why you broke it." I said, smirking

"Yah. And that." She said, scratching her nape

"Abigail, where are you? The view seems... uh, cold?" Rowan spoke out of nowhere

I then looked behind me, the tall glass walls revealing the view behind me. Shame. I didn't close the curtains. It was raining. Ugh summer showers. It's just been a week since we've graduated college. I didn't want to close the black curtains. It was already dark. It'll just make my apartment darker. And I hate that ambiance.

"Oh. That. I'm in my rest house apartment in Subic and my apartment's in the middle of handling summer showers. Don't worry. It'll be gone in an hour or two." I assured them.

"Okay." Was Rowan's retort

"I wish I was there. It's smoking hot here in Bulacan. It can kill. Right, Kathereen?" Cara said

"Yeah. Anyways, where are you staying Holly and Hailey?" Kathereen asked

"Um, we're just here in Vigan. I just love the view here. Though it's raining a bit. But not as much as Abigail's" Hailey replied. Holly was just painting her nails in grey, never minding our conversation.

"Anyways, Abigail..." Kathereen called

"Hm?" I asked her

"Did you ask tito Paul and tita Paula already?" Kathereen asked me with eagerness

"About?" I jested just to piss her off

"Don't jest around, Abby. I know you. We've all been bestfriends since preschool... you're not good in lying." Kathereen insisted

Man, do they know me!

"Alright, alright. Kidding. Chill, Kathy." I said

"So you've asked them about the trip?" She said

"Mmhmm... yah." was my simple retort

"And?" Cara asked

Swear they were all leaning their faces

I brought out my phone and showed them the confirmation for the ticket and that it was picked up by my PA, Bernice...

After I removed my phone from the screen, their faces were stupider than Steve Harley's Miss Universe announcement...

"What is that?" Rowan's face in complete shock

"Yah. What is that?" Holly seconded

"Uh, are you guys stupid? It's a confirmation." I answered their whats

"Confirmation?" Kathereen asked

"To?" Hailey continued

"It says that it's confirmed that my PA, Bernice is gonna give me the plane ticket any time now..." I said with a 'duh' tone

"OMG!" They all shrieked, I covered my ears with my fingers or else they're gon break my eardrums.

After they shrieked, two minutes of interval until the bell buzzed.

"Oh, wait. Someone's at my door." I excused

"Giiiirrlllsss... cross fingers that it's Bernice?" Kathereen announced then they all closed their eyes and crossed their fingers. Even Holly did.

"Tss... Stupids." I said and giggled then I stood up from my bed and peeped through the peep hole.

I opened the door and...

"Bernice!!! Hi! What are you doing here at this hour?! Come in!" I said with full excitement...

"Hey, hey... calm down will you?" She said then came in. Since my bedroom door was open, Bernice saw my laptop open.

"What's with the open laptop, eh?" Bernice asked me

"Oh, that... come! I'm on a video chat with the girls. They've been expecting you." I explained to her, she nodded as a response

I pulled her arm and she followed, I led her to my bed in which the girls were chit chatting...

"Hey, Bernie... sit." I told her, she was hesitating.

"Nah. I'm fine. Besides, I shouldn't." Bernice replied. What a nice person.

"No I insist." I said... she was hesitant, but followed anyways...

Once the girls saw me, they stopped talking

"So, who was it?" Rowan asked

"It was just the pizza guy..." I jested

Their faces suddenly showed disappointment in their faces...

I looked at Bernice who was holding her giggles...

"Kidding! Gals, say hi to Bernie!" I said

Bernice showed herself to the laptop and everyone was happy

"Hey girls! I missed you!" Bernice greeted

"Bernie!" Everyone greeted

"So what brought you here?" Kathereen asked...

"I brought this!" Bernice said as she took out a piece of paper- a plane ticket out of her bag.

"Yaaay!" Everyone cheered. Bernice then handed me the ticket

The girls and I chatted for 3 more hours and Bernice had already left after a good chat. We said our good byes and good nights and I tucked myself in and turned on the dim lights...
