[Shin Sung Rin's POV]

Physics class, last period.

What more could be more torturing then to be stuck in my seat for the rest of the period, listening to the robot standing in front of the classroom? Now, don't get this wrong. I'm not in an era of the 30th century of something like that. The robot I'm talking about was the 5' feet, nagging human with the whiteboard marker in her hand.

Today was the first day at school after summer break and all. And let me tell you, having to listen to Ms Lee talking about how she liked physics was the best way to start the new term.

Yep, the best way.

"Class, please note down this mind map on the advantages of physics in your notebook," Ms Lee announced. Yep, totally the best way, considering none of my friends were allocated to this class. Ms Lee stalked over the teacher's table, grabbed a handkerchief from her purse and started to dab off the beads of sweat on her forehead. I mean, it wasn't like I disliked Ms Lee, but what she teaches us (based on this lesson) don't come out in exam questions.

I ripped off a piece of paper from my notebook and quickly scribbled down what was on the board because Ms Lee was coming around to check on us. She nodded her head in approval when she came by my table, frowning a little at my messy handwriting.

Once I made sure she was out of sight, I started doodling again, glancing up at the clock every now and then. Half and hour till the end of school. I did a mental cheer and a victory dance, all in my head. Come on Rin, you can survive this.

My pencil traveled freely on the lined paper, making shapes of unicorns and clouds. Hey, you can't blame me for liking unicorns! Elmo isn't bad either.

I had just gotten to the horn, the last bit of my increasingly cute pewdipie when the bell rang. You read it right, the bell rang . I almost flew out of my chair. Physics haters can relate. I snatched my books from under the table and stuffed them into my bookbag. I grabbed it, slung it on my shoulder and stood up, ready to leave.

"Class is dismissed," was all the teacher had said before I was out of the classroom in a flash, to the library where me and my friends had agreed to meet.

[★BREAKING NEWS★]

It has been 3 weeks since BTS has gone AWOL. Fans have been starting to worry about their safety. Where could the boys be? Why did they disappear all of a sudden? Rumours have been circulating. Was BTS just tired of being idols and fled somewhere else? Want to know the reason for their disappearance? Read below for some of the theories given.

My friends and I surrounded the round table in the canteen as we stared at my phone in front of me reading the recent articles from Allkpop about the disappearance of BTS.

"Heol! They're missing? " Jiwoo opened her eyes and mouth big.

"Ji, you're so outdated," Yeon Young remarked, rolling her eyes. The two just loved to picked fights with each another.

"Yah, who are you saying that's outdated?" Jiwoo stared at Yeon Young, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"You, duh," Yeon Young replied, ready to run.

''Tsk , these girls,'' Johyun shook her head at them while smiling the whole time. ''Sometimes, I just can't believe they're 18.''

'' Rin, look, this is the museum BTS was seen at before they went missing!'' Johyun exclaimed and I whipped my head around to look at what she was looking at.

Hmmm, National Museum of Korea.... So that's where BTS went. It was kind of baffling that they suddenly disappeared. Well, and kinda worrying. Disappearing suddenly seems like a sasaeng fan in action.

My detective instincts kicked in. ''Jo, why not we go and check out the museum tomorrow?'' It was a home-based e-learning tomorrow and I was free, so why not? Perhaps we could even solve this case.

Johyun groaned. ''Not your detective instincts again! Rin, remember what happened the last time we went along with your detective instincts?'' I flushed a deep red at that question that brought up that embarrassing memory. ''Shhhhh, Yah, Kim Johyun, not so loud!'' I whispered while looking around warily but I couldn't keep the redness off my face. The last time I found an old piece of paper in the attic, I had thought the squiggly lines on the paper was an island and it was actually a treasure map. So, i dragged my friends along with me on this "top secret mission" and guess what was our final destination? Ended up in front of a farm in the middle of nowhere . Of course, I forced my friends to search the farm while the black goats stared at us, but what could it do? We didn't find anything though.

''But-''

'' Johyunnie~'' I cut her off ,tugging on her arm and showing her my puppy eyes. Johyun's hand flew to her eyes. "Ew, Rin, stop. I don't even know how I stand your aegyo sometimes.Don't do it, it's disgusting."

'' Okay, then it's set! We'll go to the museum at 11am tomorrow~'' I punched my fists in the air and beamed triumphantly at Johyun. Hah! Aegyo is always the best weapon.

'' Where are we going?'' Jiwoo asked breathlessly when she returned from her chasing game with Yeon Young. I smiled slyly at them. ''We're going to the museum where BTS went missing and discover the truth behind this case under the guide of Detective Shin Sung Rin! '' I tugged out a flag with my name written on top. Jiwoo snatched the flag from my hand, threatening to drop it in the recycling bin.. ''Please don't tell me this is another of your crazy detective ideas again,'' I always used that flag whenever we were on a detective case.

"Bingo! We'll go to the museum tomorrow and meet up at Jo's house at 11am. Jo agreed, so no dropping out!"

Jiwoo and Yeon Young sent emergency glares towards Johyun, willing her to save them out of this. But Johyun only shook her head at them, indicating that she couldn't do anything. I was known for being stubborn, so nothing was going to change my mind.

Just then, the librarian stuck her head round the glass door. ''Girls, I think you have to go home. We are closing library soon.''

''Sure Miss Jung, we'll pack up soon.'' Johyun replied her and we picked up our bags and files.

We strode out of the school gates minutes later. Before we made our separate ways, I reminded the others. ''Don't forget to meet up at Johyun's house tomorrow at 11am before going to the museum!! See ya~!''

"Yes, Detective Shin, we wouldn't let go of this amazing chance to discover the world with you!" Yeon Young saluted me and took out her bubble gum from her mouth and pasted it on Jiwoo's clothes. Jiwoo made a disgusted face and took the chewing gum of her shirt.

''Yah, Go Yeon Young, don't run!"Jiwoo started running after Yeon Young. "You can't catch me~!" Yeon Young laughed and made a face at Jiwoo before scooting off again. I shook my head at them, the ghost of a smile played on my lips.
