Laura's P.O.V
I was becoming weak. One meal a day at the most and a bottle of water a day was all I had left. My phone died after two days and I have been walking when I'm not sleeping. I've no clue where I am now. Somewhere in California I think. I hope!
Today had something different about it though, I could feel it in the air. I just knew!
I was walking along with my now pretty much empty rucksack when someone came along and started beating me up. That was the something different, someone was watching me. The last thing I remember before everything went black was that person running off with my bag. Now I had nothing to live on. No food, no water, and now even if I found somewhere to charge my phone, I couldn't because it was in my bag!
Ross's P.O.V
The bell rang and the empty hallways filled with pupils leaving school. Normally I get a ride home with Ratliff, but he was sick. My next choice was Rydel but she left early cause she was going to look after Ratliff. Riker just skateboards to school with Rocky and I normally get a ride with someone but today I had no one. I guess I'm walking.
I was almost at my house in California when I spotted a small motionless body lying at the side of the road. I walked over to it and saw it was a girl. She looked around my age but really small. She had brown hair that was curly. She looked really sick and dirty, like she'd been here for days. I picked her up and carried her home.
"Hi Ro-," my mom started, "who's that? Is she ok?"
"I don't know," I replied looking down at the girl, "I found her about ten feet away from the house."
"Go and lay her down on the guest bed and put a wet cloth on her forehead," my mom instructed me. I nodded and took the girl upstairs.
Laura's P.O.V
I could feel something wet against my forehead. I opened my eyes and I was in a white and purple room. Where was I? I sat up, looking around, and then he walked in.
