"Yes ma, I'm perfectly fine here" I said over the phone while looking for a summer job that will fit for an 18 year old like me.

"Opo ma. I love you too. Bye"

I stretched my arms and legs after ending the call, and rest my head in my study table. I scan my room hoping to find something interesting to do, but of course, I find nothing. Deciding to just grab a snack downstairs, I fixed hair and straightened up my clothes before leaving the room.

"Where's Liz?" I asked the guy sitting on the kitchen stool in that mini bar they have.

"Have a meeting to attend with her co-teachers" he plainly said not even giving me a side glance while on his phone with a piece of untouched cake in front of him.

I scoff mimicking his horrible deep voice quietly while his back facing me. I opened the fridge but find nothing to eat, according to my mood right now. Cupboard to cupboard, still nothing to satisfy my need. I sigh as I closed the last cupboard that I opened for the 3rd time. Finding nothing to eat, I decided to just take a walk outside and enjoy the sunny afternoon of Australia.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Sa puso ng bawat mamamayang Pilipino" I retorted, as if its a reflex action. He obviously didn't know what I said  so he just rolled his eyes on me.

"Im just going for a walk. Maybe eat in a local fast food chain. I dont know" I said while putting on my sandals. As I grabbed my baseball cap, I turn around and give a sweet smile.

"Dont try to miss me, I'll be back before you knew it" I said then turn around and hurry outside. Laughing at myself for being an annoying step-sister, it didnt occur to me that I dont have my wallet in me as I search in the pocket of my shorts and even checked my bra.

"Tangina" I cursed as I run back to my house. Running up to my room, I immediately spot the black leathered thing resting above the many papers in my table.

"Told ya I'll be back before you knew it" I said while smilling brightly at the blond guy, who's sitting on the couch, because of my silliness. He gave me a confused look so I just showed him my wallet before fixing myself again in the full body mirror right at the corner when you walk in.

"Oh. Just please dont burst in the door like that. I nearly think I'm gonna be kidnapped or something" he said but I just waved him off and bid another good bye.

"Thank you for comming. Hope to see you working here next time" Miranda, the cashier, said as I walk out of the glassdoor while thanking her for the application form she gave me.

The moment I got bored walking around the park and the playground I found at the end of the street, I ended up looking for a summer job around the place. I got 3 application forms from different dinning places, and 5 from local shops. I happily skip around with the brightest smile on my face as my feet lead me to the street of my house.

Im almost at the end of our driveway when I saw two familiar faces walking across me. My excitement took over my body and it took me a second to realize that Im now facing these two guys with a shy but aproachable smile onmy face.

"Hi. Sorry to bother you but Im a really big fan of your band, can I uhm take a picture?" I asked shyly making the brunet one smile at me and nod his head.

"Yeah sure, what's your name sweetie?" I was too star strucked that I didnt realize he was asking for my name, and I embarrassingly snapped out.

"Oh yeah. Zoe. My name is Zoe. Sorry just a little strucked, I guess" I said awkwardly laughing at the end making them laugh along.
