"take her, whatever. i don't care, as long as i get my money." the judge fiddled under the rolls of his weight and the pining white wig.
"she's your firstborn daughter. don't you care at least a little?" lucifer asked, raising an eyebrow.
"no. i only care about the money you promised." the judge said in a hushed whisper, his eyes gleaming with a rebellious excitement.
"i can't hold value to something you don't hold dear. i'm sorry." lucifer sighed sadly, pretending, like he always did, and shrugged under his heavy black coat.
"but the money..." the judge whimpered, and lucifer had to hold his face in the casted stony expression to hide his disgust and anger.
A silence lingered for a few free moments.
"here: how about a 100 souls in exchange?" a smile smile hinted his lips as he said this.
"a 100 souls in exchange for your property."
the judge looked excited and determined now, fixing his wig and nodding vigorously.
"consider it done." he said pompously, getting up and out of the door.
lucifer watched the man flounce away, the souls of a 100 innocent people on his meaty, mortal hands.
