Chapter 22

– Hello – Matt said in a good mood, meanwhile deciding what he was going to eat.

– What's up – Andy said and Iris just waved with her hand because she was chewing some food. I stayed for a minute looking at her, then looked at Andy and Matt.

– Nice place, right? – I asked, just to make time to talk to her.

– Yes, I have to recognize your managers have done a good job – Iris said happily.

I couldn't resist a little smile that appeared in my face. She has always made me smile, even in the worst days.

– Nervous for the first concert of the tour? – Andy questioned before eating a piece of something I didn't recognize.

– Kinda, but you know, it'll be okay – I shrugged. Ryan came and started talking to Andy; that was my opportunity.

– Iris, can we talk for a minute? – She looked at me and nodded.

As the room was pretty noisy because there were four groups of musicians, we went outside. She turned to look at me, hands on hips.

– So, what do you want to talk about? – she asked.

– Just wanna talk to you, I haven't done it for more than 1 hour in a lot of time – I said, she decorated her face with a smile.

– I thought you were gonna say something important, we can talk inside – she slightly laughed.

I shrugged and laughed a little too.

As we came back inside, she looked me.

– I didn't have the opportunity to say to you that I'm dating Andy, and I'm sorry because you are one of my best friends – her eyes were filled with a little bit of sadness. How could she be so adorable?

– Don't worry – I winked, she smirked.

– You've told me now – she nodded in agreement.

I actually didn't tell her what I wanted to say about what I was feeling, but hey, she was happy with Andy, and if she was happy, I was too.

Lunch time passed faster than I thought, so when we realized, we had to come back to our tour bus; we were going to the hotel where we were going to stay. We were in Wisconsin.

The concert wasn't going to be until the next day so we had the rest of the day to do whatever we wanted to.

IRIS'S P.O.V.

I was eating next to Andy and Matt, they were making jokes and saying stupid things that were making me laugh as we were eating. The food was pretty good; it wasn't the healthiest but whatever. Ronnie went where we were and smiled at us. It was a weird smirk though.

– Hey guys – he said after swallowing what he had in his mouth.

– Hello – Matt said in a good mood, meanwhile deciding what he was going to eat.

– What's up – Andy said and I just waved with my hand because I was chewing some food. He stayed for a minute looking at me, didn't know why, then looked at Andy and Matt.

– Nice place right? – Ronnie asked.

– Yes, I have to recognize that your managers have done a good job – I said happily.

A little smile appeared on his face. I didn't really know why, but he always told me that I made him smile.

– Nervous for the first concert of the tour? – Andy questioned before eating a piece of a meat sandwich he had been eating for like ten minutes because we were making him laugh and he couldn't swallow the food. Yeah, Matt and I were horrible together.

– Kinda, but you know, it'll be okay – Ronnie shrugged. Ryan came and started talking to Andy, I didn't talk to him since the concert, and I was going to say a stupid thing to caught his attention when Ronnie talked to me.

– Iris, can we talk for a minute? – I looked at him and nodded. Weren't we talking already?

We went outside the restaurant and I turned to look at him, hands on hips.

– So, what do you want to talk me about? – I asked.

– Just wanna talk to you, I haven't done it for more than 1 hour in a lot of time – he said. Aaawwhh so sweet, he missed me.

– I thought you were gonna say something important, we can talk inside – I slightly laughed.

He shrugged and laughed a little too. As we came back inside, I looked at him again.

– I didn't have the opportunity to tell you that I'm dating Andy, and I'm sorry because you are one of my best friends –It was true. He was one of my best friends since forever and I didn't have the opportunity to tell him an important thing that happened in my life. All the things about the tour were stressing me and I wasn't going to do anything except for translating the guys if they had to talk to people in other languages.

– Don't worry – he winked, I smirked.

– You've told me now – I nodded in agreement. I loved the way he made things appear to be, so simple.

Lunch time passed faster than we all thought, so when we realized, we had to come back to the tour buses. We were going to the hotel where we were going to stay for two days. The concert wasn't until tomorrow, so we had time for ourselves. Time to have fun.
