New York was hit by a supernatural virus that caused a third of those that caught it to mutate into Supernatural creatures. A third are killed. A third are unaffected by the virus.
The city is under quarantine by the US Army. With no one getting in or out, New York descends into chaos. As the survivers try to survive each other.
